Had the Ruben, fried mushrooms, taco salad and the fried banana cheesecake. Everything was pretty good, typical diner food. My only gripe is the sandwich wasn't grilled or toasted. The cheesecake wasn't what I was expecting. It's dough filled with bananas and cheesecake, then deep fried and covered in chocolate and sugary goodness. The lady at the register was very friendly and the food came out quick. I would eat here again.
My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Clarksville. We had never been here but based on reviews we thought we would give it a try. It did not disappoint! Generous portions, the oysters were fried to perfection, the okra crisp and plentiful (so much that I had to share with my husband who doesn’t even like okra but ate every last one) and delicious fries and onion rings. The service was excellent, as well. We’re already wondering what we’ll try next time!
This a family restaurant that everyone can afford. The service was excellent. The food was amazing and came out so fast. The prices are stunning and you will not believe the portion size. The flavor of the food has been made with love. You have got to go and eat. They have room for big groups.
