Vegetarian options: Baby!!! Ms. Kat put her whole toe in this here food hunni. I dropped some plants off at a nursery out there in my box truck. I was in a rush and she heard me telling someone else that while I was getting unloaded and placing my order at the same time. She had my food ready for me when I picked it up, and when I tell you I've never had shrimp seasoned the way she seasoned them. Everything was so good, I was definitely a greedy person that day. I had a small portion of everything with plenty to take home for my husband and kids. He came in the room with that shrimp in his mouth and that look on his face. Lmao I said Ms Kat put her ankles in it didn't she, he said aye Ms Kat we might have to make another visit. Lol! We're in NC and that's a 4 hour drive. We'll be back!

I order the trio, shrimp, fish, crab cake, with yellow rice, string bean, broccoli and cheese, and honey cornbread. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dietary restrictions: The only meat I eat is seafood, and that's maybe once a month. I'm so glad I chose this place to try some fresh seafood.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Portions are incredible... Most times, we can eat twice off one tray, my goodness! It won't matter what you choose.. Seems every item on the menu is equally delicious. All menue items are flavorful a d seasoned just right, never too heavy nor bland, just lip smacking good and leaves that flavor simmering on your tongue long after. My family has ordered here at least 3 to 4 times in last 2 months because we just can't get enough and eagerly await her rotating menu and catered hours. Not only does the food for all leave nothing to want for, but they also cook weekly for the senior citizens a d churches or other organizations as well. Just an all around, so good you'll "slap your mama" food spot. All this yummy goodness is all handled by beautiful spirited and kind hearted ladies, that need to be applauded!! Hands down worth every penny, every time and is a "must try" establishment !
My family does have 1 and only 1 complaint though.... And that's is nothing at all, except when they aren't open🤣🤦‍♀️😋🍽️🫶

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, I ordered garlic parmesan wings, mac n cheese and yams. wings were perfectly seasoned with love , the mac and cheese was good and cheesy and the yams were dashed with cinnamon and had the right amount of sweetness.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the food because it was gone about 9 minutes after I ordered it! I sat in my car and ate it! Talk about home cooked goodness.....this food is straight up legit!!! You are doing a disservice if you bypass this place. I'm mad that I am just now finding out about it and she's been open for 3 years!

Happen to be drive by and decided to give it a try. Atmosphere is nothing fancy and is takeout only, but the food more than compensates. I had smothered pork chops, yellow rice, macaroni and cheese, corn and corn bread. He had curry chicken, yellow rice, macaroni and cheese, bourbon bread pudding, and corn bread. Everything tasted so good and there was so much we couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I can't wait until I have room to finish it!

There isn't a time that I wasn't completely satisfied with my meal.Very clean establishment, the owner(the cook),and her team gets the job done!!!What can I say...delicious tasting food,nice generous portions,and the prices are not bad for what you're getting.My family and I have been patrons of this establishment since the doors opened.The food keeps you coming back ?
