Overall the food was good. When I go to a new restaurant I compare to the previous or one I’m already using as a baseline. I will say this, once we got past the initial mistake with my order, it went relatively well. The food had great flavor, the ambiance was calming (I was the only one there other than staff) so I know it was the music…light and refreshing. I ordered the ginger dish - Best Ginger/Med spicy - with shrimp. It came out with chicken….but they quickly, and with no pushback, corrected the error. Medium wasn’t spicy at all, I had to add chili paste. The staff wasn’t overly worrisome - they barely came over - but that was ok, I didn’t need much. I would stop here again if I was hungry and in the area. As stated, I dined alone…except for the worrisome ‘nat’, which tried to keep me company while I ate!
Review update- once again, COMMUNICATION IS KEY! I entered the establishment with the impression I was purchasing lunch, it was Saturday lunch time according to the hours posted on the door which by the way, included Sat/Sun along with the other ‘days of the week’ hours (see photo) thus Leaving one to believe they served lunch during those hours on those (all seven) days. I even stated I wanted the ‘lunch ginger dish….’ when I had placed my order. And just like ‘shrimp’ got translated to ‘chicken’, I guess ‘lunch’ got translated to ‘dinner’ SMH…and my mind is changed and I haven’t even left the building…I won’t be back. I don’t like to feel like I was ‘bamboozed’ into a purchase cost!

The food was not good, to ME at all. And I have been to LOTs of Thai restaurants. The Pad Thai had a funny smell to it. Idk I just couldn't eat it. But my taste buds are not your taste buds. Give it a try. I'd never say not eat there. I just didn't like it.
Pleasantly surprised how delicious the food! I got red curry with chicken and a soda. Then a mango sticky rice to go.
The curry was super tasty with a generous portion. I had enough to take home for lunch tomorrow, they gave me extra rice to take home with my left overs as well. The mango sticky rice was great also, the mango was perfectly ripe and soft.
My bill ended up being $26. Which is absolutely reasonable for a fresh nutritious meal, a drink, and dessert.
If I am ever in the richmond area again I will absolutely come again!

Good food and nice atmosphere. Ordered Massaman curry with tofu that came with white rice, edamame’s, Tom Kha soup (salty), and fried tofu with sweet chili sauce. All vegan. The fried tofu wasn’t breaded just cut and fried unseasoned but that was ok as the dipping sauce was yummy. The massaman curry was good. Will order that again.

I decided to try something new for lunch one day and stopped in. The waitress was very friendly and recommended a chicken dish for my first visit. I returned a week later and tried the crispy duck curry. Both meals were fantastic! I will definitely be coming back!

Got the “amazing Thailand”. It was a very sweet tasting entree which I wasn’t prepared for considering it was a bunch of vegetables, rice and beef. The sweetness really hid the taste of meat which was disappointing and I felt like I was eating a dessert. On the plus side, the taste was good and it came out within 5 minutes of ordering and was SO hot.
Serving size was small and quality wasn’t there for the price you pay. I couldn’t tell if the ingredients were truly fresh or not.
The food was fantastic. We started off with appetizers, curry puffs, and moneybags. I sampled a couple of their imported beers. I had the chili paste pork fried rice. The food was excellent, milder spice than I expected but detracted nothing from the taste. The service was great. I don't know how I've missed this place for so long, but it's on the rotation now.
