“Stopped in around 7 pm after my day shift at nearby bar to check out Easy St. it wasn’t very busy yet. I had never been, and many of the same guests and staff usually turn up back at my place after they close since we’re open until 2 am. As I have my own bartending and beverage management biz, do private “bar rescue” type consulting work, tend bar on contract and W2 basis, have managed bars, trained staff, conducted TIPS training; I think I can leave a professional unemotional honest opinion. Five stars! Clean, organized and welcoming atmosphere. The bartenders, Zach and Kayla were first rate, casual and competent, polite and professional. I had a Jack and Coke, fried pickle appetizer, burger and fries. All served up nicely by Zach, while I conversed with Kayla about their typical business vibe. I don’t know contextually where the negative reviews are from, my experience was positive, food was great for pub genre, the staff very personable, and an impressive organized, clean bar (telegraphing they are attentive to the other little things too.) Worth a visit, and I’ll be back. 5*****“
“Awesome second time at this place. The first time I did a take out order of Fried Oysters and Moroccan Lamb Meatballs. The oyster's breading was a little soggy and the meatballs were over done when i got home(I only live 15 mins away). However, that is mostly my fault because neither of those foods travel well. This time I did the dine in with the Fried Oysters and the Petersburger. The Fried Oysters were great as well as the burger. The only complaint I had was that the oysters were a little bit on the small side. I had the oysters, burger, and an old fashioned for around 48 before tip, so it's a little pricey, but well worth checking out if you're in the area. Just be advised that, some of the food doesn't travel well, and there could be a wait depending on the size of your party.“
“Amazing! We are from out of town and in town due to car troubles. We came across the cutest town & the Old Town Alibi. We stopped in for brunch. The staff were friendly, hospitable and made our troubles seem obsolete & the food was delicious!! It was the perfect place!“

“I have now eaten a Daqlife three times. They have by far the best oxtails in the area. They have a diverse menu that provides options for even the pickiest eater. My favorite dish is the ox tail tacos. I was given generous portions of quality meat with toppings that complimented the texture and flavor. The daiquiris are affordable with many options to choose from. Stopping by is a must“
“If you ain’t been here. You’re missing out!!! I have no idea how long she plans to keep it open but I feel blessed everyday I see the open sign on. We call it the sugar shack for whatever reason lol. But my goodness the burgers are just amazing. Chilli dogs are great. Food is just good. Highly recommend. My all time favorite lunch spot!!!“
