Was told it would be 20 minutes if I ordered family meal. They also had no ketchup or forks available

I walked in, and the manager spoke to me and the other customers as if he were in a bad mood that morning. The person preparing our food served hard biscuits, and when he pulled them from the oven, they hit the counter. He quickly looked around to see if anyone noticed. When I mentioned the problem, I was told he was new and in training. As a service industry manager, this experience ranked among the worst I have encountered in years.

I ordered 8 Piece Chicken Meal via the app. I do not usually visit Bojangles except for their breakfast sandwich. I decided to try a fried chicken meal, and everything from ordering to consuming was excellent! No issues at all. Super experience. v/r, Dr. K.

If I could rate this place zero stars I absolutely would. Keep in mind I love BoJangles.

I’m originally from the south but currently live in a state that has zero BoJangles locations so anytime I travel through the south I stop by one.

I have NEVER experienced anything like this at ANY other locations. I’ve eaten at locations in NC, SC, TN & so on.

We ordered
1. Chicken biscuit w/ cheese
1. Sausage biscuit w/ cheese
1. Order of biscuits & gravy
Half a gallon of sweet tea
6 cinnamon twists

They told us they only had 4 twists (implying they didn’t want to make more) but since the twists aren’t sold at most locations and they’re my favorite I asked how long to make them, they said 10-12 minutes. We said we’d wait and pulled forward to wait.
This was at 9:40

We sat there till 10:10 before I went inside to ask, after 15 minutes of waiting inside they gave me my “order”. Which was literally just the cinnamon twists. So I had tell her we ordered food as well. She eventually brought out a bag of food after another 5 minutes of waiting.

First thing I noticed was she gave me a small drink so I told her “we actually ordered a half gallon of sweet tea” she told me they were out and she’d need to make some (which I also had to wait for).

I should’ve checked the bag. I don’t know why I didn’t. I guess because I was so happy to finally have our food and leave (we’re on a roadtrip and on a time crunch)
I get into the car, we drive off like dummy’s and then when we go to eat we discover we have:

•2 egg and cheese biscuits (didn’t order)

•2 combos of biscuits and gravy with borounds (we only ordered one and it was not a combo because we don’t like borounds) I would also like to note that they didn’t prepare them properly!!!! They literally just wrapped up dry biscuits in parchment paper and gave us a ramekin of gravy

•A small Pepsi

We waited 50 minutes for our ENTIRE order to be wrong. The place wasn’t packed either. There were no more than 3 cars in the drive through at a time and on the occasions that I went inside there wasn’t more than 5 people in total inside.
It seems like the staff there simply “doesn’t want to work” as corny as that may sound. They literally seemed annoyed to make and serve food despite the fact that they work at a restaurant.

In short. Definitely don’t come here. I don’t know HOW this location is still open. They need new management and different staff. 0/10 experience

I decided to go here on 11/15/24 after photographing bald eagles. I wanted egg & cheese on a dark biscuit, and I got just that. Almost a little too dark, but I liked the way it was cooked. Only complaint I have is, I did not get my receipt. I would recommend this location.

Once again I stopped in to this location to see if anything had changed as far as service or quality. Well they didn't disappoint at all.... no biscuits and a 10min wait for one. Last time I stopped here they were out of chicken (yes their main reason for existing 🙄) so glad Popeyes was across the street! Just close this location or have a manager that knows how to manage their menu items.

This place deserves zero stars. It's probably the worst place I have ever gone to. Never in my life have I been sold an old over cooked yet cold chicken sandwich. It even took over 15 mins to get that old thing. I cant.. this place needs new people and new management. It was so dirty on the inside I felt so gross.. I left the sandwich on the counter and walked out. Didn't even want to ask for the money back. They need it.

The whole store could use a good cleaning. What looked to be mold growing on the air vent. The lights over the tables were covered in dust and bugs. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food while freshly cooked was lacking to say the least.

Make no mistake. The food is good... not the healthiest, but good. However, they have the absolute worst service and wait time than anyother food place.

Now, here is the thing. I have been to at least 10 different bojangles in Virginia, and every single one is like that.

I am the only one in the drive thru, no other cars in the parking lot. They still ask me to hold, then it takes 10 min to get the food, after they ask me to pull foward.... why? Why does it take sooo long to get a sandwich and fries when you are not even remotely busy.

The people have no desire to even try.

Inside the place, tbis particular one, the ice machine was leaking, hadn't been cleaned and fruit flies were EVERYWHERE. Absolutely disgusting. How on earth this place stays in business, i have no idea. I broke up with bojangles last year cause i had enough of it. I thought id be nice and see if they changed.... nope

Don't, seriously just don't.

I ordered food from the drive thru, was told as I'm paying the mac and cheese will be a 15 min wait. So I pull up and wait, 20 mins go by and someone comes out to tell me the mac and cheese is frozen and they can't do it. So I sub fries and wait another 10 mins for my food.

Finally get tired of waiting and go inside, they are not short staffed, they have not even started putting my order together.

Wait about another 15 minutes inside all to go home with burnt chicken.

All in I waited over 45 mins for crappy food.

The place was not busy, and I watched them pull the same crap multiple other customers. What a disorganized mess...

Long wait. Chicken breast was not fully cooked. When asked for replacement was told it would be 15 min. Didn't have any sweet tea ready. Dining area was nasty. Manager was less than friendly.
