Had dinner at Brock’s tonight. The brisket was fatty and the sides had no taste. Service was terrible. I will definitely not go back.

Tried this restaurant for a work lunch. The building is pretty dated so it feels a bit old. The table looked clean, but was tacky. The entire time we were there, me and my co workers were fighting off flies, not one, but many. When our food finally came out, it looked like old school cafeteria food, which is not terribly appealing. The green beans were really good, and the coleslaw tasted fresh, but the pork bbq was difficult for me to eat. I visit a lot of bbq restaurants and pork is my favorite, but this meat was chopped so fine you couldn't tell what protein it was. The texture was was kinda mushy and there was sauce already mixed in, so I really couldn't taste the pork, just the sauce. It may have been better on a bun, but I didn't order it as a sandwich. The staff were the really bright spot of the visit. They were polite and friendly and greeted everyone warmly. The restaurant was pretty full and there seemed to be a lot of regular customers, so if you are looking for no frills, old school buffet dining, you may want to try Brock's, but don't expect really great bbq. One visit was enough for me, so I will not be going back.

We waited to be seated, We've waited For our server, we waited 30 minutes for our order and asked the server twice why it was taking so long. Come to find out she never put our order in. We had other appointments and could not wait. So we got up and left and got a burger at a drive-thru

I called Brock’s on a Monday morning to see if they could help me with a last minute event later in the week. They helped me customize a menu and made excellent recommendations to ensure I had an appropriate amount of food for the estimated number of guests. When we went to pick up, everything was ready at the time promised. I requested the food cold to heat the next day. Brock’s provided heating instructions. We heated everything the next day. Our guests complimented the food and everyone left full. Thank you for making out event a success.

If you like barbecue but can’t eat pork then you must try the barbecue pulled chicken. It is very tasty, and don’t forget the coleslaw. Tell them DJ sent you 🦋
