Got the sampler, fish,chicken, shrimp, stuffed crab shells, fries, and coleslaw.
Could not tell which was chicken or fish. Both the fish and chicken tasted the same, tasted like the chicken was cooked at the same time fish was in the same oil. And both had the same texture. Shrimp was ok at best. Fries were completely horrible, like they were sitting around for an hour. Crab shells had freezer burn. But they were fresh and hot. Definitely different experience than as I remember from my youth. Definitely will not be back. The Captain Ds app didn't work. The person at the drive thru said they don't use it, but their address is in the app. Other reviewers stated they ordered online.

It is fast food seafood so all of you foodies back down on the 5 stars rant. However, for fast-food seafood it's good and consistent and service is friendly.

Ordered online for a 4:00 PM pickup on April 8, 2025 (Order #92, Online Order #1623683), and everything was ready right on time. The drive-thru service was super friendly, and the young lady who helped me was awesomeâso polite and upbeat.
I donât usually go to Captain Dâs, but this visit might just change that. The foodâFish Sandwich, Oysters, and Fish & Shrimpâwas seriously delicious. Iâm already thinking about coming back soon!

This is a very good location for fish or other seafood at a very reasonable price. The food is prepared promptly after ordering. Once prepared, the staff opens and displays your food items for you to inspect prior to serving or packaging for takeaway. The food is tasty and affordable.
