The food quality has gone down since our last visit. The salmon was cut so thin it cooked in a few minutes. I never saw a piece of salmon that thin and of such poor quality. It was also flavorless. The chef was skimpy with the soy and teriyaki sauce. The veggie mix was mostly onions, and noodles were no longer included with hibachi meals. My husband said the filet mignon was not very tender, and ginger sauce was no longer offered. The food we got was definitely not worth the price. I've gotten a larger and more flavorful salmon meal at Captain D's. We were very disappointed.

The food and service are ok but not special. Luckily the prices aren't too outrageous where it's not worth to go there at all. I would still go if it was close and convenient but wouldn't be my first choice.

Accommodated a large wedding party group. They even allowed us to stay a few minutes after closing ~10mins to clean up our decorations. The food was quite delicious and the chef, very entertaining, and the entire staff very friendly and attentive. Since it was my sister's wedding day her happiness is what matters most. She shared with me that she had the best time and made her heart full to see all of her family and friends able to come together in one place and enjoy themselves!

High heat and open flame style cooking lends itself to the perfect delicious and juicy meal. All proteins are available. Soup, salad, and sauces included with meal.

I decided to eat here for my birthday an the food was cooked well and very enjoyable, luckily we had another group sit around us which was quite nice, the chef was very good an respected my fish allergy when cooking on the grill. I would definitly comeback. Also alot of people that have commented badly about this place never made a good comment on previous orders only once when their order wasnt satisfying.

This used to be in my top 3 restaurants in the area… the past few visits has changed that drastically. The staff is nice enough but the food quality has plummeted. The steak is MORE THAN well done when i ordered a medium and the quality of the steak in general has decreased. Not to mention the portion size of the steak has also decreased significantly but for some reason it’s the same price if not more. Just feels like they have gotten lazy with the cooking and its vet disappointing. Most likely will be my last visit and I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

I’ve lived in the area for over five years and have visited this location a few times but today was truly disappointing.

The portion sizes have noticeably shrunk. I paid $26 for steak and chicken and barely received any vegetables just a large portion of rice. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium, but it definitely wasn’t. Both the steak and chicken were bland, with only basic seasoning. The “yum yum” sauce didn’t look or taste like yum yum it was more like honey mustard. We usually receive both yum yum and ginger dressing, but this time we were given yum yum and teriyaki, which were both overly sweet and also seemed to match the meat’s seasoning, making the entire meal one-dimensional. I agree with another review I saw this just isn’t worth the price.

With Hot Pot opening soon in Colonial Heights, I won’t be coming back.

Our host was fine, but another older staff member looked visibly irritated. As another group was being seated, she slammed their menus down on each setting so aggressively it startled us. Totally uncalled for.

Lastly, I was surprised to see an $11 service fee on my bill. I paid it, but I’m not sure what it was based on. I noticed some people were charged around $3. Are we being charged by the number of people at the table, even if we’re not all together?

Either way, this was not a good experience.

My wife and I love this place. We havent had a bad experience yet. We always leave full and satisfied. We get our own sushi, she gets her philly roll fried and I get the tempura shrimp. She doesn't like anything else, but I get the hibachi dinner.

Ordered on DoorDash as we have done multiple times and have never had an issue. Ordered the seafood hibachi, salmon and tuna, well done, as we always do. The salmon was undercooked and limp, very disgusting and very disappointed. We have frequented this restaurant in person and online, for many years and never had a problem. Sorry to say but we will not eat here again for a long while.
