Took 1.3 hours to get food. That in itself isn’t an issue had they just said this was case.Also no bread with any of our orders. Also the sides were incorrect.I am not sure how the food tastes. But rest of the experience tasted awful.Do not waste your time of care about any thing being handled correctly.

Found this gem of a place. Got fried chicken with sides of black eye peas and tomatoes and mac n cheese/broccoli casserole. Perfectly seasoned fried chickens. Also ordered fried pork chop with sides of Carribean Cabbage and Yams. Again.. perfectly seasoned fried pork chop. The YAMS were banging, sweet but not too sweet. Owner/Chef was working by herself, had to wait a little but DEFINITELY worth the wait. Will DEFINITELY get my money again and again. I'm a cook myself that cooks a variety of ethnic food. This Gem of a small restaurant mom/pop shop will not let you down if you are looking for excellent comfort soul food.

I searched “soul food” in google maps and decided to give this place a try. They did not disappoint. The food was piping hot and you could tell it was made with love. The customer service was exceptional. There was a wait because the owner was working alone but the quality of the food made the wait worth it. I ordered the fish and chicken dinner with yams and cabbage. A roll was included with the meal. My spouse had the meatloaf with black eyed peas and Mac-n-cheese. He enjoyed his meal too. We left a huge tip for the incredible service. I will be eating here more. I wish the restaurant nothing but success. ??

OMG my husband Curtis and I were visiting from Philly. The food was GOOD! We had to wait a while but good food takes time and it was worth the wait. I dont have any pics because we dove right in. We're coming back for more!

This place is a nice family own restaurant. The food was delicious, I had the smothered pork chop over rice and gravy with broccoli casserole and the fried chicken with a corn muffin. I had to wait a while for my good but she put her foot in that food I mean it was really good. Please support this place it deserves a chance to thrive.
