Riptides Seafood Restaurant

Kind of on the busy side dining on a Saturday evening, but we were able to get a table. Server Char was very friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed her service. Ordered she crab soup and clam chowder and they were both great!! Tried the cobb salad which was very enjoyable, along with the shrimp Mexican bowl. Quite spicy but in a good way! We had a brownie for dessert, and everything was excellent!! Overall, the prices were very very reasonable for what we ordered. Highly recommended!!

The she-crab soup was excellent, the scallops were divine, and the coconut rice was a delightful surprise, but beware of the sauteed spinach. Rather than just a hint of garlic, an excessive amount of raw garlic overwhelmed every bite.

Customer service was ok but will never do a takeout order again. Spent $40 on a hand full of fries 5 gator bites and 5 catfish bites. Was definitely not worth the money. This use to be 1 of my favorite restaurants but I never go back

I’m glad we gave this place another chance, we had a terrible experience a few years ago, but we’ve gone back here recently and the food is great and the service is good.

Went today for lunch. Mom got mussels, which she liked, hubby got fish n chips. Said they were okay. I got shrimp Alfredo, Ceasar salad was wilted, the noodles straight up tasted like fish. I understood because I got shrimp but the shrimp didnt taste fishy just the noodles. Told the waiter I wont be taking it home due to the fact I didnt care for it. (I ate 1 shrimp and 2 bites of noodle. He saw my plate was not eaten at all and didnt offer to replace or remove from my tab. Won't go back!

First time going it was pretty decent food was good prices are what i expect but all in all would go back

Has been our date night spot for years. We have never been disappointed.

Food was good. Guy behind the bar up front wearing a backpack made a derogatory comment about my partner. He should loose his job.

On Sep 20, 2025, I ordered the sautéed spinach among other items online and paid in advance but when I got the order home, the spinach was nowhere to be found. I even had the audacity to add a tip upfront, trusting I’d receive complete and attentive service. That trust clearly wasn’t earned this time, but I should’ve known better—past experience should’ve been my warning. I gave Riptides the benefit of the doubt, but once again, I left disappointed. There's been no response to my email!
