We’ve lived in Chester for over 5 years but unfortunately just discovered this place a few weeks ago. Walking in I felt like I had just stepped back in time! I felt like I was a kid again stopping at a roadside diner. The place was cozy and filled with locals.Coming from WV, I know a good chili dog and this place has it! It reminded me of chili dogs I use to get at a dairy bar in Beverly, WV. My only complaint is that I wish the coleslaw was finer, but it had a wonderful flavor.Unfortunately...
Bacon cheeseburger and fries for me and my hubby. My Mom got a corn dog and onion rings. Little bit of a wait, but worth it. Delicious. They chose a favorite non-profit of mine for community donations so it was nice to see their display honoring The Village - Be Kind. So sad to know The Village Grill is closing their doors for good. Great local eatery.
