Service was horrible the waiter forgot our bacon just stood in the corner half of the time. My waffle had egg shells in it and we never got the replacement while we were still eating because she forgot about it. So we sat there waiting for it and had to wave a different waiter and got it to go because it jut took that long. The scrambled eggs that we were served were not even two eggs. Our toast was completely burt. We ran out of tea and she never offered refills or even checked up on us. She kept forgetting about the tables around us too, so multiple people were complaining about missing things to a different server. When the server told her, she never corrected herself or even said sorry at the very least. We rarely have problems here but today the server and the cooks were just not good.

The coffee tasted dirty and bitter. The bacon looked good and cooked the way I like it, but it had a horrible taste. I ordered 1 All American with raisin bread, cheese on eggs, and chocolate chips on waffle, 1 waffle with chocolate chips and bacon, coke, coffee and chocolate milk. I received 2 All Americans with cheese, white bread, and chocolate chip waffles, and 1 chocolate chip waffle. I told the server I didn't order 2 All Americans, and since the order was already wrong, I didn't bother to tell her my bread was wrong, too. We never received the bacon with our waffle order. The server didn't ask if we needed refills or syrup, and never brought our check. I had to stand in line and the server ended up charging me for all the food she gave me. The manager(?) came over to try to fix it but that took several explanations, so I asked my spouse and child if I'm speaking English and using the correct words because the server and manager were both having a difficult time getting my order right. The manager still charged me the wrong price. I began to speak up to correct her for the fourth time, but just said ok and paid. The price was lower than what I actually owed, so I considered that a tip for me since the service was poor, it was so difficult to explain what I should be charged, and our order was wrong.

Stopped by Waffle House and even though it was empty, it still felt like Waffle House. Food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I wanted.
Honestly, if you’re leaving a 1-star review at Waffle House, you probably shouldn’t be going in the first place 😂 It’s not a luxury, white-tablecloth, five-star restaurant — it’s an experience. The energy, the cooks calling orders, the simple food done right… that’s the charm. If you get it, you get it.

I get that you don't allow outside food even for kids who don't like Waffle House food, but tell people when they walk in the door before sitting down. We even switched tables because the tables were dirty. You saw the happy meals when we walked in. I'm pretty sure McDonald's adheres to the same standards. Enjoy no customers.

Service wasn’t that great. My husband and I came in and were greeted by a young girl who seemed like she didn’t want to be there & just woke up. I get it, but we were tired too from driving and still were polite to everyone. We asked for WH sauce and she goes to the counter, leans, and starts talking to her coworkers while we didnt begin eating because we were waiting for the sauce…. That was rude & unprofessional.
Some part of the window fell on a different server and dust went flying every where & she was having other coworkers fling off the dust off her back, head and shoulders right in the kitchen near the stove. It was disgusting to watch and wanted to leave.
It's waffle house. If you haven't been, go. If you are from the north, make sure to try your fill of everything you can't get at home. I love the pecan and blueberry nougat waffles the best. Fully loaded hash browns are delicious too. Service as fast and prices are fair.
