Quaint cafe with terrific food! This was my second visit & the chicken salad sandwich was absolutely delicious!! I opted for the combo with their potato soup & it was warm, tasty & plentiful with veggies. The bacon on top was phenomenal - actual bacon cooked extra crispy! Stumbled on Papa's Cafe & Country Elegance while heading home. Everything about this little restaurant is comforting. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The owner and staff are friendly and treat you like family. The biscuits are absolutely delicious very light and fluffy!! Our breakfasts were delicious and the coffee was perfect! Bring your appetite, the portions are big.
Aptly named, as the fellow that greeted me when I walked in the door was probably in his mid 70s, as was my hostess, I believe maybe a husband and wife team, they were great. My waitress was friendly, there were two omelet options on the menu, cheese and everything I picked everything and man did it have everything . I don't know how they got it off the grill. Also ordered a large orange juice, that thing was at least 20 oz I've never seen an orange juice like it in...
