Food was your average Chinese food but a few bucks extra. No music was playing so it was awkward to hear everyone chewing. The waitress was really nice but probably won't be back.

This I beileve is traditional long time family owned. Older lovely woman was the server. Food was very good. I'm not a fan of salt so I would say the salt review must have been a rare occurrence.

We found this restaurant by accident, dining late and pretty much by ourselves during a visit to pick up our grandson at VT. Wow! We went straight to the last page, the "authentic" recipes and had the best Chinese food we have eaten east of the Mississippi. We ordered Double-Cooked Pork--succulent pork belly, cabbage and a few other ingredients wrapped in an absolutely amazing mildly spicy sauce. Our second entree was Cumin Beef (dish also available in pork and lamb), and were again blown away by it's perfection. Generous servings and gracious service added to our pleasure in rather ordinary surroundings. There are so many other things we wanted to try that we can't wait to go back.

I didn't receive my entire order. I was missing 4 egg rolls (a $7.59 item). I called back the store, they said they were "busy." That's okay, I just called it a loss and settled for the refund. The next day they had refunded me for the egg rolls, but then charged me again for them. I wrote a message to their website and got no response. So now I have to go through my credit company to dispute the charge. Food was fast and decent, though. But overall a frustrating experience.

A decent place to get Shanghai style cuisines. The lady owner was super nice in treating her patrons. Foods are tasty and environment is quiet. They deliver for orders over $15 and in Christiansburg. Street parking available outside the entrance door.

We ordered General Tso chicken, pork fried rice, egg rolls, and Crab Wontons. The chicken tasted like sausage..and full of skin. The rice literally looked like a blackish toilet water..and horrid taste. The wontons weren’t bad..but not much flavor and a little stale. My stomach started hurting within the hour so I feel confident the food was bad. Just go somewhere else.

I've always enjoyed the food at Charlie's Chinese restaurant! The people are lovely and really make an effort to give you something that you would enjoy. The Shanghai Gluten was very good! Thank you!
