Kroger Christiansburg if your daily special for Wednesday is $5 sushi. You should have some on the shelf and someone working the station especially over the lunch hour. We were in at 11:45 am to an almost bare shelfnof sushi. very dissapointing as we only get an hour for lunch and drive 15 mins each way and left with no lunch. Seems someone in managment should have looked at the time and stock befire letting some go to lunch.

Bought an 8pc fried chicken. Chicken was cooked at 2:30pm, we bought it at 4:30pm, I got someone to reduce it to half off. We get home, it has 3 thighs, 2 legs, 2 wings, and 1 breast. To top it off, the chicken was burnt and very greasy. So, a box of Mac and Cheese for dinner instead of chicken. Very disappointing.

I stopped by this grocery store because I was looking for a Food Lion to buy the organic dal that they usually carry. This location is near the freeway and apparently Food Lion is a mile or two down the road. The restroom was clean. The first employee I talked to was nice. However, I asked another employee about the dal and she didn't help me well enough to find it or confirm they did not have it. As an organic vegetarian this place failed me. They have little food that I eat. I like organic vegetarian food without sugar added and I avoid weird sugar cocktails and white flour if I can. I also like it at a good price and I noticed they had some products in the Simple Truth organic brand, but not what I was seeking. I do not know which products they stock and which ones they don't, but Simple Truth is a good brand although it can be expensive when it's not on sale. I left and visited CVS across the street and they sufficed. Instead of organic dal they had organic lentil and vegetable soup which is similar.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Jessica in the bakery. We had a cake nightmare with a local baker and stopped into Kroger to grab enough small pre made cakes for my grandma’s birthday party. She offered to make us a cake and have it ready in 30 minutes. She went above and beyond and salvaged the party. Everyone loved the cake! I can’t thank her enough and want to apologize for being emotional.?

The checkout clerk and bagger were horrible. Rude and couldn’t follow simple instructions. Too busy flirting with one another.

We have ordered food for tailgating several times through the deli department at this Kroger location. The people working are wonderful..always friendly and provide great service. I really appreciate them each home game!
Waited over 40 minutes today to pick up an order. Watched 5 people who were here after me get served first. Second time using the service. Might be the last time.
