Our food was awful! We had to wait over an hour for it to even be ready, the bacon on the sandwiches was burnt the bread on the sandwiches themselves was also burnt and tasted super old. Not a good experience especially for how much we paid for it!

This was the worst place ever we waited 1 hour on our sweet teas and we ordered four appetizers we had 8 people and it took two and a half hours and our food was raw and didn’t get our food correct this place sucks and I would rather have dumpster food

I have been going to Macado's for at least 30 years. I always order potato skins and I love them. Tonight in Christiansburg though, I had a bad experience. My potato skins had no bacon. It was just cheese and potatoes. My waitress apologized and put in a new order for us. The second order was the messiest looking plate I've ever seen. The potato skins had mountains of bacon under a layer of cold congealed cheese with pieces of shredded cheese that weren't melted. I brought them home hoping I could microwave them so the cheese would melt. Unfortunately, some of the potatoes weren't even cooked all the way through. I am truly disappointed. We did get good service though.

Booths were disgusting and you could tell they haven’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Bathrooms were covered and pee and the smell would knock you down. Inches of dust everywhere and empty food containers just sitting around at random places?? Cool looking place and nice to find an old school macados but I’ll definitely not be back.

Love going to our local Macados. The bartenders always remember our drink orders before we even have to ask for them. Food is always awesome. They are on point. Christiansburg Macado's is where it's at.
I did not have a great experience here and I love Macado's, which made me sad! I had only visited the Farmville location and the Harrisonburg location. This location did not live up to the ones I have been to before. I did go at an odd time, about 3pm on a Saturday. There were very few people in the restaurant. For some reason we were seated in the far corner of the restaurant away from anyone that was there and then it honestly felt like they forgot about us. The food took forever to arrive. At least it was good! I then had to get up and find the waitress to get boxes and a check because no one ever came to check on us after our food was delivered. Hopefully we just caught them short staffed, because it was definitely not the Macado's I remember from my college days!

The food was delicious (our group had a Blues Brothers burger, a mushroom burger, and a build your own sandwich). FYI, the Blues Burger had a lot of blue cheese. It was delicious! Our server was attentive without being annoying. The actual restaurant is an eclectic mix of stuff, and is a fun place to be.

Macados chef salad is what I order and it was great my friend ordered the diablo quesadilla and it was also great. Our server was nice and had good energy she was quick too. Being as my friend and I only had 30 mins for lunch the server made sure we got out food/drinks and got to eat and got out.
