I took my students on a field trip to Sinkland Farms and they had a blast! They taught us about their history, the importance of agriculture, and how they support our local community. Of course, my students especially enjoyed the corn maze and seeing the different animals.
It's always a good time at Sinkland, but I hope they vet the band playlist before booking them next year. They finished the set with "let the bodies hit the floor," which wasn't really in keeping with the family friendly fall festival vibe. This year a lot of vendors ran out of water and food so we ended up wasting some time in line. Overall, it's still a great festival.
This is a nice pretty spot for events. We went last weekend As part of the pumpkin festival. Be sure to check out what time they close. If you show up an hour before they close, they still charge you the full admission price and don’t tell you that they close in an hour. We would love to go back but pay $15 again when we’ve already paid it once for an hour on the property, no thanks.
