Man who served us seemed to have difficulty focusing, having to have us repeat ourselves. Also sounded like there was some negativity with other employees in the back room. Not one smile or thank you ...not a happy day. Out of tomatoes and scrapped the last of the smashed avocados. Been coming to this SB for years, but I think I'll checkout the one on Franklin next.

Horrible experience today at this location. Two lady’s were behind the counter, one preparing food one checking out customers. One preparing food was visibly distraught acting very irritated at everything. She took my order reluctantly, threw it in toaster and slammed the door shut in frustration. When the timer went off she threw my sub onto the counter so hard causing a portion of it to spill into an empty tomato container below. She looks at me and proceeds to pick up the portion that fell off and puts it back on my sub. I did not say anything in this moment and proceeded to have her put on the rest of the toppings. Once completed, I stated, “I think you need to be sent home”. She responded and said, “yes, I sure do”. I reply, “ well, where is your manger they should be informed”. The lady behind the register jumps in and states, “oh she is the manager, we just had alot of work left for us today so that’s why she’s acting like that”. I just shook my head and said, “it’s a problem when you let it affect your customers” and left it be.When I go out to lunch I don’t expect perfection but I do expect decency, what a shame.

Subway needs to seriously consider bringing back just regular ranch
When is the purchase just three loaves of bread just the bread no meat no pizza let us know nothing on it they told me each loaf would have to be $7.99 a piece for that but they threw it away at the end of the night or they give it to a guy to feed to his squirrels how is me trying to purchase red different from them giving it to a guy to give to his squirrels that there's people going hungry out here so I don't break these people at all it's a sorry establishment when it's 799 for a piece of bread way to go Subway let people starve so no reading for them bad rating you should have some sort of compassion at least maybe I should have told him I had squirrels

The food here is good. The customer service however is not. Three times now they have been rude, and I am pretty shy and don’t like confrontation so I never spoke up for myself. I won’t be back.

This Subway location used to be decent but there's been recent staff turnover and I won't be going back for a while, especially since there are 2 others in Christiansburg. Last time we went, they forgot the bacon on a sandwich and didn't put enough toppings on anything. This time, we saw the staff (1) swap meat between 2 subs after toasting without even getting all the meat moved (looked like they mixed up the bread), (2) cover a cough and not change gloves before touching food, and smaller things like not finishing the toast cycle or not putting the double cheese on the club sandwiches.Vegetarian options: This Subway has the veggie patty (vegan) as well as the standard veggie sub.
