The only reason this store is still open is because it's on the lake. It is not because you get good service, it is not because they have food ready during the times that you would think like lunch time,it is not because they're concerned about the customer. The Papa John's is the worst Papa John's in this area. More often than not they are unable to make whatever you'd like to order, they're closed, they don't have an ingredient or whatever the other excuse is; you cannot count on this place for pizza especially at lunch time for grab & Go. Don't waste your time stopping here and supporting owners who don't give two craps about the customer.

Website says they close at ten on sundays. I called at 8:30First they had no string cheese again or jalapeños AGAIN. then they were closing early and weren't taking orders anyway. Man who the hell is running this place. ??Worst managed restaurant in the state. Don't waste your time

Very bad customer service, the workers at the pizza establishment are terrible, when you place the order online they answer the call and then ask for time and leave you hanging on the line and when you are lucky to have them take your order they tell you that they are busy You just have to wait 40 minutes and you tell them OK, you'll wait and when you get to the establishment they don't come out because they haven't taken the order yet, they definitely don't want to work, they should take action on the matter.

We've been buying breadsticks forever from Papa John's. Tonight's order was a complete disappointment ?. The breadsticks were skinny, hard and one end was flat. They were so overcooked that they snapped in half like a chip. Our pizza was ok, definitely not the best we've had from there. The cheese sauce was nacho cheese, not their signature cheese sauce. I tried to call a few times to speak with someone before posting a review but it just kept ringing with no answer. Idk what was goin on in there tonight.

I honestly wish I could post a picture of how digusting my food was. You couldn't eat the pizza because it was smothered in greasy cheese, the cheese sticks was burnt, the pizza fell apart even trying to eat it. I will never order from here again. The girl looked at it, and honestly she never should have sent it out the door looking like that. I was on my hour lunch break and it was absolutely rediculous to pay what I paid to literatly get garbage. If you eat here I HIGHLY suggest you don't or if you have no choice double check your food. Extremely disappointed in this place.

This is the worst run business in the state of Virginia. Never open. Won’t take orders. Take phones of hook because they don’t want to work. I used to eat here twice a week but past year or 2 I only bother if all other options exhausted. I came tonight expecting the worst and they didn’t let me down. Ordered 30 minutes ago come in and find order hasn’t started and they are cooking 1 pizza and the 5 staff members just hanging out doing nothing. But hey I’m sure it’s COVID’s fault!!

Regardless of the hours posted online they are never actually open according to the posted hours. When we went in the girl at the counter had to ask someone else what time they closed and they’d turned the ovens off. A few nights later we called at 7 and the were supposed to close at 10 and the guy asked someone and he said they closed 30 minutes ago, everyone left.
