First time visiting. We had a little bit of a wait after we were seated, but it was lunchtime, and the 2 waitresses were running around the whole restaurant. Our waitress took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered a mich ultra and modelo. The food was really good, As an appetizer we got fried mushrooms which were very tasty. I ordered the philly steak calzone(no cheese but plenty of steak, peppers, onions and mushrooms, breading was not ridiculously thick), and he ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza(plenty of chicken, cheese, and sauce). We also ordered a pepperoni pizza(tasted amazing, lots of cheese and pepperoni) to go. The atmosphere is set up in two sectionsOne looks like an old pub, and the newer side looks like it may have been a retail space at one time.

Breakfast was amazing. Great hometown place to eat home cooking. Pizza is only one thing they serve. You have a lot of other options. They also have a full bar. Great place to take the whole family.Parking: parking all around the building.Kid-friendliness: Open areas, booths, fish tank, they have a tic-tac-toe table to play with game pieces shaped like pizza and mushrooms.

This restaurant really does have the feel of a pub. It is, clearly, a popular place for families. The menu is varied. Any member of a group should be able to find something to order. The food is good. The servings are generous. It was busy, but our wait time and our service were both good. No parking room in front with ample parking on side streets. Strong local presence is, for me, a plus.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance to the restaurant and the interior are wheelchair accessible.Parking is adjacent to the entrance with possibility of uneven pavement/surfaces, which may pose a challenge.

It's a decent place. A little dark inside with weak lighting but the food is your typical bar eats. Everyone there is friendly and nice. All in all it's a decent spot for a quick bite to eat and an ice cold beer.

So as somebody from a decent sized city in the Midwest traveling for work in what I would call "the middle of nowhere, Appalachia" I never had high hopes of great food being an option. Well I was wrong. Being where I'm from, I'm used to "hole in the wall" places having great food because it's easy and inexpensive to source fresh ingredients for anything. I knew that in the middle of a mountain range that farms are not abundant and that usually translates to lesser quality restaurants in the area. And that is something I experienced first hand with other places around there. When you walk in, you get typical great Southern hospitality. This is still awkward to me (the Midwest is still known for it's politeness) but it's the normal way of being around here even though it feels 'over the top' to me. The place looks like an old diner from the 80's or 90's with either super basic chairs and tables or some old booths that feel original to the building. When I looked at the menu, I thought I was going to get some standard pub food and that was it. Boy I was wrong. The first sign I knew I was wrong was hearing the kitchen operate behind me. Communicating about what tickets came up and calling out what was dropping in to be cooked. Second was seeing other people's food. The burgers I saw come out of the kitchen were just huge and very well plated. Nothing I haven't seen before but surprising given my first impressions. What I ordered was the fried catfish with hush puppies and fries with a side of coleslaw. I'm not familiar with what a "good" hush puppy is but it seemed slightly dense and slightly dry but once again, I have no idea how it's supposed to be. The coleslaw tasted nice and light while having the right amount of sauce. The fries were good by my standards. Crispy, medium thickness and well seasoned. But the catfish was a wow moment for me. The batter wasn't super thin like I'm used to, it was thick and had a good amount of seasoning to it. I felt like there was salt, pepper, and a hint of what I would call "Cajun" seasoning. It was the right amount of flavor to also let you know you were eating catfish and not just some basic fish product. The next couple days I ordered some of their daily specials and some desserts and have been answered by everything. They had a chipotle chicken wrap that was actually fresh and not over-sauced that was prepared by somebody who actually cared about the fact that the tortilla can actually make a difference. The next night I had the Ribeye Oscar and everything was perfect. Real crab meat was used which you can't take for granted anymore along with the steak being perfectly medium rare as I asked for. I don't know who is coming up with the daily specials or who is in charge of playing and making everyone look the way it does on the plate but whomever they are, they are doing an amazing job and I can't recommend this place enough.

The prices shown here online are not accurate. During covid they raised the price of everything, then started charging extra for things like fries that were previously included with things like subs and burger. A meal ends up being almost double for some items shown on this old menus. The other restaurants in town didn’t do this. No longer is Pizza Pub the best value in town

The Pizza Pub is more than just a pizza place. The pizza is great, but they also offer southern fare on the regular menu, as well as daily specials.

First time eating here. Interesting place. It wasn't bad but wasn't great either. My husband had a pizza that he equated to a Tombstone flavor and I had the manicotti. Not a fan of a thick tomato paste style sauce personally. The mozzarella sticks weren't bad.

We went out for a girls day and about every place was closed it being Black Friday. We saw that the pizza pub was open and it did not disappoint! I had the chicken parm sub with their crispy fries and it was delicious! Give this place a try on your way through adorable Clarksville!
