Very nice post-trail visit. Parking seemed like it could be a problem, but they have a large overflow parking area.

The best experience I’ve had with my son was being at the end-of-summer gathering with his coworkers.
Tables, wines, and exquisite service!

We took a tour this weekend. It was lovely! Zach and Jesse are very friendly and educated!

Nice outdoor space to take your dogs, sit and drink wine. No food sold but there is a food truck parked at the entrance which I did not purchase from. I had a glass of their 2023 KIII wine which was very good. They do give tours of the vineyard. Very friendly staff. It was too hot today so this is a place I will visit again in the fall. Someone had ordered a pizza and had it delivered to their table outside. So that's something you might want to do if you visit or bring your own.

Very close to DC proper, which makes this winery practical for a Saturday or Sunday visit. They have versatile spaces: pic nic tables on the lawn, air-conditioned barn and a shaded outdoor spot with live music.

The wine is very average for Virginia wine. So expect Virginia wine, nothing more. I recommend the Cabernet Franc.

Finally, they close pretty early on Saturday (7pm) so maybe plan your visit on a Friday. Expect to be unceremoniously kicked out.

This is a lovely winery. We went on a weekday and it was surprisingly busy but quiet. Staff said it was packed on the weekends. We tried the two tasting levels and I would say the slightly more expensive one was definitely better and worth it. I am not a huge wine drinker, but I got to try some new varietals which I enjoyed.

I'd give 3.5 if I could, but there are some things that the winery could improve.
We did a seated, guided tasting that came out to about 30 per person. They served 8 wines, 2 extra tastes which was appreciated and enjoyed! Each wine was served one at a time, which is great and kept them at the ideal temperature. The guide allowed one group member to taste mostly reds which was appreciated, because the typical tasting is 3 whites, 3 reds.
This is a matter of preference, but I found the wines, even the reds, to be very low body. Not always a bad thing, but I like variety and very few of their wines hold up on the palette. They also only had one size of wine glass, which is odd when tasting whites and reds.
Unfortunately it was VERY loud inside and as a seated tasting we didn't have the option to go outside. It was so loud it started to be hard to hear the guide when he talked about the wines. That detracted a lot from the experience overall. Oh, and the seats aren't very comfortable. Cold metal chairs.
I tried their orange wine off the menu definitely my favorite of the day - worth giving that a taste for sure if you come.

This was a first time coming and I am not a wine drinker but it was a very nice place. Staff was very helpful, Jasmin helped us and was amazing, knowledgable, very helpful, and patient.

Incredible wine and service. The team did a great job preparing for a surprise birthday party in the Stable Room. Highly recommend.

I always enjoy coming here. Nice mix of indoor and outdoor space. If you are outside, you can bring your own food. Dogs leashed are allowed outside also. The wine is fairly priced for the overall atmosphere.

This place is a colossal rip off, please go to any of the other 100+ wineries in the NoVa area. Read more for specifics.

1. See picture, a $15 hot dog from their food truck, which was cold/room temp when served to us. No sides included, you order on the app and it still asks for a 25% tip! EDITED TO ADD: THERE IS A MANDATORY 17.5% SERVICE FEE ALREADY ADDED! AND THEN ANOTHER 3% WHICH LOOKS LIKE IT'S FOR A CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEE, MAYBE? What a scam, to auto-grat at a counter serve establishment and then charge a credit card processing fee when they force you to order on the app and pay with a card. SCAM.

2. They have a $35 wine tasting, and they don't even walk you through each wine, they just hand you a few plastic cups to go sit down with...at no point should a NoVa wine tasting be above $20, especially if it's not even a guided tasting, and again, they ask for a tip. Tips are for service!

3. They need to have their septic tank serviced as the entire property reeks of sewage.

Bottom line: they don't deserve to be in business and you'll be happier literally anywhere else. Learn from my mistakes and avoid.

We completely disagree with your response. The beer you referred to was inside a closed cooler, along with juice and soda for the kids. All the bottles, including the beer, were sealed and unopened. We had no intention of drinking them on your property, and we were not consuming them at all.

You made a false accusation against us. How could you possibly know what we were going to do? If we truly intended to drink the beer, why didn’t we do it right away? Why did we come inside and purchase your wine instead? Your claim is completely unfounded, and we are disappointed that you chose to accuse us rather than speak with us directly.

On top of that, your staff opened our personal bags and cooler without permission, while we were not present — a clear violation of our privacy and basic respect. You could have simply left a note or addressed the issue when we were there, instead of secretly going through our belongings and then accusing us based on assumptions.

You never even returned the beer to us, despite your claim. All the bottles were unopened. You assumed we might drink it in the future and acted as if that gave you the right to search our things. That is unacceptable.

Please treat your guests with respect and open communication in the future — not with accusations, privacy violations, and baseless assumptions.

“ Avoid Paradise Winery at all costs – absolutely not a safe place.
We visited Paradise Winery hoping to enjoy a peaceful day. We were sitting inside the winery drinking wine, completely unaware that something very disturbing was happening outside.

When we finished and stepped out to the patio area, we were shocked to find that a staff member had already gone through all of our belongings — without our permission and while we were not even present.

When we asked them about it, they casually said they were checking to see if we had brought outside alcohol. That is completely unacceptable. How is it okay for someone to search your personal bags while you’re inside enjoying the wine you purchased from them?

They even opened sealed coolers and closed bags — all without us being there.
This was a huge violation of our privacy and made us feel unsafe and disrespected.

If you plan to visit Paradise Winery, be extremely careful with your belongings. This place has no respect for your privacy, trust, or personal space. We will never return, and we strongly advise others to stay away. ”

“They stole my stuff themselves and acted like it was no big deal, saying, ‘This is our private area.’ Unbelievable behavior — stay far away from this place.”

Very family friendly with lots of picnic tables. Great ambience! Wine was delicious and recommendations were helpful. An on-site food truck was also an added bonus. Try the giant ice cream sandwiches for the kids - a gigantic awesome treat!
