The coffee is always perfect and the employees are so nice (minus one). I go to college at Virginia Tech and this is my hometown Starbucks. Yet, everytime I come to visit theres a manager (at least I think by the way he talks to people) who is BEYOND mean and passive aggressive to the workers and I always leave with an uneasy and sad feeling. As someone who has worked at Starbucks, it is a really hectic job and there’s just absolutely no way anyone should be talking to somebody like that. It’s also evident this happens a lot because I’m only in town so often and it’s loud enough for the customers to catch on.

Loud. Obnoxious staff, completely disrespectful to guests. I came in to grab a coffee and to hop on one call (with headphones) as I was in between spaces (work/home/errands) and needed a place to listen in on ONE call. But thanks to your manager and team- on 9/13/24- it was near impossible. They were obnoxiously loud and over the top in conversations.
It will be the last time I visit your (newly remodeled and nice) Starbucks because if I cannot sip a coffee in peace, much less hear a conversation, that isn’t your obnoxious manager and her team (debating on Piggly Wiggly and I whether it’s a legit grocery store chain.) then your atmosphere and service to customer is complete crap, despite all the schnazzy remodeling.

I have been drinking Starbucks coffee for many years. The flavor was delicious before the company changed the coffee machines. After this change, I am disappointed because the flavor of the coffee is horrible, as if I were drinking water with a slight coffee flavor. I am sad about this, but I will not drink Starbucks coffee anymore.

This Starbucks was very slow when we first moved here in 2022. Lately, we've had really good service. Everybody working on red cup day was so friendly and kind. Orders seem to have been coming out quicker lately as well.
