I love this restaurant. Everything about it from the service to the environment and especially the delicious food is incredible. It helps to either have reservations or selecting a time that isn’t as busy because it’s so popular. My family and I have been eating there for over a year and been back many times. We love the bada bing shrimp for our appetizer. And my favorite personal entrée is the spicy seafood. Here’s a picture of it with a wide ribbon noodle maybeI weither tagliatelle or papardele. Just incredible. Homemade fresh pasta. Five stars out of five for sure.
Food was good. Service was OK. It took them 10-15 minutes to offer us drinks, but after that, they were very friendly and attentive.

We are regular customers who live in Clifton. We were not satisfied with our lunch today. I had a party of 7. We spent $400 for the most lackluster meals. The salad was wilted and old. The steak was tough and not cooked properly. The tuna we ordered was overcooked. The drinks were not the ones requested. My son’s pasta had the wrong protein. They removed the shrimp and replaced it with steak causing it to have a fishy seafood taste. My daughter was a fan of the lobster ravioli and today said it had a weird taste and didn’t finish her meal. Our appetizer of mussels was undercooked and gelatinous. Overall our lunch experience was disastrous. As frequent visitors of Trattoria Villagio we are very hesitant to return without bringing this to the owner and executive chef’s attention.

My fiance and I came to celebrate our anniversary. We made a reservation online. We came around 6:15 on a Monday and it was very busy. It might have been for the half priced wine bottles, but I'm not sure. The bread to start was good. The house wine prices were good. I had the seafood pasta. It had just a hint of spice and was very good. My fiance had the short rib ragu and it was also very good. It had a good amount of short rib, which was nice. The service was good. Where we were seated was right outside the kitchen so there was a constant flow of staff running by our table and there was not a lot of space. I had to keep my drinks away from the edge of the table. Also, we were a little disappointed that they did not say anything for our anniversary since I see that they do that.
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding Mike helped us

We enjoyed the restaurant and especially our waiter. Unfortunately, the tower appetizer was not available due to missing seafood components - lobster and mussels. Our drinks were not made correctly, but all that said, our meal and our waiter were super! It made our evening nice, and we are all looking forward to a return visit in the near future. Desserts were also delicious! You need to try this place, but not on a Sunday evening when supplies are depeted...

Our family had a phenomenal late dinner here after the Clifton Haunted Trail. We waited less than 10 mins for a table. This cozy little inside space opens up to a beautiful outdoor area with heaters that will make you feel like you are in Europe. Pasta dishes were fresh, hearty, and excellent. I highly recommend the stuffed gnocchi, which is some of the best I ever tried. The chef’s special dessert of the evening was an amazing pistachio soufflé with chamomile gelato and local honey. The service Lauren provided was excellent. We are looking forward to returning again soon.
