I've been coming here for several years. Food is awesome and the service is just as good. If you go, ask to be stated outside. It is tranquil and you may think you are in Italy.

This time we sat in the courtyard section, in the shade. Weather was beautiful. Food was absolutely delicious.

Was craving some good food. Prob one of the very few spots that does a Penne a la vodka right! Pair that with a glass of wine. Fuggetaboutit.

Perfect spot to take a date, spouse or just enjoy solo.

Drove 40 minutes to get here just to try it out for the first time. I gave my number and name to the hostess and went back to my car to wait. I had been told 15 minutes, I gave it about 20 minutes and called to check in. The worker who answered proceeded to say “we texted you about 22 minutes ago” with a tone (that’s basically right when I put my name down). I asked the number that was texted, of course my number was written wrong by 1 number. I stated that to the worker and I was not offered to wait a few more minutes for another table to open up, instead I was made to feel that it was my fault. Will never return…

We were here last night for our anniversary dinner. It was absolutely wonderful. The piazza is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. The service was friendly from the hostess to the server. The food was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back again.

Fantastic dinner! Wife had the gnocchi, I had the cavatelli, and we shared a large Italian chopped salad and the tiramisu for dessert. Our server, Sophia, was phenomenal!

We went here with friends over the weekend and had such a good time. We sat outdoors cause the place was beautiful! The food was the real highlight, favorites were the oysters (super fresh), Shrimp Bada Bing (so flavorful), and the octopus (tender and amazing with the Calabrian chili base). For mains we had the lobster ravioli, cavatelli arrabbiata, and salmon piccata. Everything was delicious, especially the arrabbiata with the spicy Italian sausage. We finished with tiramisu and panna cotta, both really good, and the drinks were great too. Overall such a fun experience and we’ll definitely be back in the fall.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the DMV area.

The food is delicious, mostly made in house, and fresh, and the place is beautiful inside and outside. The menu is well planned with a variety of options from starters to desserts.

The calamari and the meatballs are probably some of the best you could find in the region.

We use to come regularly without reservation and we never had to wait even if the restaurant is full, which it generally is.

On our last visit we were told to wait more than 40 minutes, but surprinsingly the restaurant was almost empty! 🙂

The service sometimes lacks a bit of experience.

Trattoria Villagio is a true standout! Despite the place being packed on a Thursday evening, we were seated with only a short wait thanks to having reservations—even though our full party hadn't arrived yet. The staff handled it with grace, and our server was absolutely fantastic throughout the meal.

We started with the meatballs, and they were a true delight—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. For entrees, we had the crusted ribeye and the spaghetti (yes, with more of those amazing meatballs!). The spaghetti was rich, loaded with sauce, and packed with bold flavor.

To top off an already excellent evening, we shared two desserts: the crème brûlée and the seven-layer chocolate cake—both divine, especially the cake which was indulgent without being overwhelming.

If you’re in the Clifton, VA area, Trattoria Villagio is a must-visit. And if you’re not—find a reason to be! Highly recommended for anyone who loves a great Italian meal in a warm, bustling atmosphere.

Gonna keep it short. Service was excellent, and atmosphere is wonderful. The food was extremely subpar, i mean i’ve never had italian this bad. Had two different pastas (spaghetti bolognese and this some creamy pasta cant remember the name). The bolognese sauce tasted like ragu, it had zero meat, i mean zero, and it was tons of onion. The pasta itself was overcooked. Both dishes made me and my date’s stomachs hurt like hell we had to walk around for half an hour. That’s just my personal experience here, don’t guillotine me for it. Stay black.
