We did not have a good experience at the bar. No one acknowledged our presence for 10-15min. The bartender seemed to be wrapped up in performing his shaking maneuvers, and the other people that were behind the bar disappeared. We understand that they were very busy, but just someone making eye contact with you and acknowledging that they'll be with you in a minute goes a really long way. The rest of the evening was lovely our server Amanda was outstanding! She was personable and attentive without being overbearing. She was very sweet an and took the time to make us feel special. She made up for any customer service issues we experienced at the bar. The food and the service was excellent and we enjoyed our evening. We will try drummers again.
The breakfast lasagna is everything that is best about breakfast, rolled into one delicious dish! Great service from Brooke. She was upbeat, friendly and fun. Great place for brunch!
Excellent service and food always! The only thing is the parking lot is small at Trummers. Its hard to find a parking outside.
The reputation of this establishment is well deserved. From the greeting upon entry through the service in the dining room, the service was exceptional. The quality and selection of the courses was excellent, only exceeded by the attentiveness and demeanor of the staff. This is definitely a special occasion must for us in the future.
Love this spot so much! I had a great lunch here during winter restaurant week and everything, from the delicious food to the warm service and peaceful ambience, was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this for date nights or special occasions.
One of the biggest factors for my “value” rating was that it was Restaurant Week with a fixed price menu. The oddity of this promotional style menu is that we expect portions to be along the lines of haute cuisine (read: small). My entree of venison schnitzel was gigantic. I could have done with half the amount of food and I qualify as a big dog. My wife and I both started with the chestnut soup which was delicious and comforting for a winter meal. It's sweetness countered by a dollop of herbed goat cheese. We also had the same dessert, a blood orange tart. Rich filling with a razor thin slice of dried blood orange wafer adding a delicate crunch. My SO had the braised short ribs and seemed to enjoy it (her portion size was normal). As I was driving, and in the dry January spirit I had the Golden Coconut mocktail. Very tasty with a umami flavor.
Had a wonderful evening with friends. Cocktails were amazing. Apps and entries were delish. She server, she was amazing, apologize I do not recall her name but she had a lovely GA accent. I can't wait to return.
Our server was lovely. She didn't rush us and was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We each had great meals. I enjoyed the salmon burger. My friends each had a salad entree with protein. We started with the delicious bread and pasty basket. The ambience and views in the main room were perfect for brunch. The best part was actually the music/play list. We all commented on it.
Food great. Service was excellent. We are repeat customers celebrating a birthday. It's a wonderful restaurant and worthy of your patronage.
The service and the ambiance was excellent. The food was very good and the portions were perfect for a 4 course menu.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon spent at Trummer's. The service was superb, both in the restaurant as well as the bar afterwards. The employees really went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed and checking with us regularly, but not intrusively. Truly a phenomenal experience all the way around and we're looking forward to coming back again soon.
As part of our Christmas tradition, we treat ourselves to a special dinner each December and had high hopes for Trummers, especially given a friend's recommendation and our fondness for their Gainesville café. The ambiance was understated and less cozy than expected, and the dining room felt noticeably cool. The staff was friendly, and our waiter was helpful with recommendations, but there were several service issues throughout the evening. A bottle of white wine we ordered was unavailable (not noted on the menu), and the replacement arrived at room temperature. Our foie gras appetizer initially arrived without the foie gras itself, which had to be brought out separately with an apology. The main dishes were mixed. The Wiener Schnitzel was generously portioned and well cooked, though it could have used more seasoning. The Belgian seafood stew was excellent in flavor and texture, a delight. The scallops and risotto were well prepared, but the portion was very small for the price. The maple-glazed salmon was the most disappointing dish—approximately a 4 oz portion, which felt more like an appetizer than a main course, especially given the cost. We have a background in gastronomy and restaurant work and are generally understanding when minor issues arise. Unfortunately, taken together, the service missteps and portion sizes did not meet our expectations for a special occasion dinner.
We had a wonderful experience dining here with our family. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Everything was truly 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!
