Was our first time eating here. We’re a big family of six and we stopped in on a Saturday evening, we had a new waitress named Skyler (If I remember correctly) and she was so sweet and friendly, did an awesome job! The burgers and fries were delicious, and the apple cake with ice cream was so good! My son had a really yummy patty melt too! The atmosphere was a little plain but clean still. Very home-y like a mom and pop shop. Overall really glad we decided to stop in here on a day trip to colonial beach. Will definitely be back!
I always, ALWAYS go at least once on my trips to the area. Anything I've ordered has been wonderful: burgers, salads, sandwiches, etc. The catfish club has actual big piece of local catfish, just delicious. I've never gotten a bad meal and I always get some fries AND onion rings! Recently they've added fried zucchini and I plan on trying it the next time I'm in the area. The owners are lovely, and it's just a well-run, clean and pleasant place to enjoy good food.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and relaxed atmosphere.
Me and my girlfriend ordered a burger and a blt. The Fries were obviously cooked multiple times. And there was a white hair in the burger, which i plucked out in front of the waitress. I nor my girlfriend have white hair. Apparently my complaints struck the owner in the core, because she came out (with white hair mind you). Saying if there was a hair in the food I should have left it there, and she can't prove whether it was there or not. And the excuse for the fries was that, "they are not ordinary Idaho potatos." I'm a food worker myself, they were obviously discolored and extremely dry from repeated drops into frying oil.

The food here is either microwaved or fried and its N.A.S.T.Y. l I used to come here all the time, I live close by and they've had my patronage for years. Believe me when I say, the quality has fallen off a cliff. I even returned for a second time since then because I was a loyal customer but the food was just as bad the second time. It gave me an immediate stomach ache before I even left. Everything was bad from appetizers to entree, very disappointing.

My food was really good. I had the Shrimp and Clam Poboy.
Food isn't quite worth the price you pay and the atmosphere is very bland as well. Our waiter did his job properly and assisted us as he should. The place has a lot of potential they just need to restructure their menu prices and have their cooks bring the dishes to life a bit more. Overall I would go back on the occasion but if done properly I would regularly visit.

Cute little place we pass every time we go to Harbor View. We finally stopped in for lunch. Awesome grilled cheese (how do they make them with that perfect crunch ? ? ? ?) and fresh cut French fries. Now, if only we had stopped in a long time ago!

I would have given 5 stars but the cheeseburger patties being completely dried out without juices and charging me $5.00 for a beef paddy where other establishments charge 2 to 2 and half dollars is what made the rating. Fries were on point, chicken fingers were great, coleslaw not great at all. Again, another restaurant too pricey for basic lunch menu items, $38 for cheeseburger fries chicken fingers fries and two teas. Service was great here but if restaurants continue to raise their prices like this servers beware this may affect your tips going forward.

While visiting the area and staying at the Thousand Trails Harbor View RV Park, we were told by others that Bobby Ks was a great family restaurant. We found Bobby Ks on the corner of Hwy 3 and Bowie Drive. On arrival, we noticed the restaurant was clean, orderly and decorated tastefully in “country chic”. We noticed music agreeable to most customers was playing safely in the background, making conversation easy. Ms Rebecca ordered the flounder platter, 2 filets. Mr. Dave ordered catfish platter also with 2 filets. We both had 50/50 iced tea. We found the filets of both dishes cooked to perfection where the light coating didn’t distract from the flavor of our fish. For dessert we had the apple cake Ala-mode style. Large servings of cake, flavorful, moist and light sugar crusted. So Good. Notes: desserts and specials change often they can be found out early by going to their FB page, Bobby Ks Roadside Grill…
