Colonial Beach has needed a place like this. I have pretty much eaten my way through their menu and everything has been delicious. My favorite is the Osprey Sandwich with a side salad. I also love their charcuterie offerings. I grabbed it when to friends come to visit and they were so impressed. The service is friendly and the location and setting are great. It is close to the pier/beach and that a really nice casual modern decor.

Sandwiches, salads and chicken soup were surprisingly good and filling! Nice atmosphere and appreciated their environmentally friendly plates and cutlery. Good quality ingredients and what they do they do well.

Lovely place. Didn't like the food. Some very hard topping sprinkled on my fish. It broke my tooth and cost me 3,000.00 at the dentist. I could not identify the hard object. Wish I would have taken to the. Health department for ID. We won't go back.

What a wonderful place with great service. Drove from Washington DC to meetup with a friend here. Plenty of parking is available at the municipal dock. Just a short walk. The menu selection was the best. We had a delicious sandwich with a glass of wine. Just the best place to go. Thank you for the great service.

Been here twice and both times the meals were sub par. First time had a cold roast beef. The bread just wasn't very good. Tough and chewy in a bad way. And far too much bread for the toppings given. Second time was to get a grilled cheese, which like the roast beef, was also cold. Zero melting of the cheese. Just a sub par effort than anyone reading this can beat at home. Over priced for the area and not at all worth it. If it were a true premium sandwich shop it's priced just right, but these sandwiches could be made at home after a quick stop at any grocery store. It's a shame Though because this place could be the place our town needs but instead it falls short.

Great place. Great alcohol selection if you drink. Coolers have assorted cheeses, I believe they even offer Foie Gras? They have fancy canned drinks too. There's chocolate selections and other assorted gourmet foods in the back of the store. The bamboo cutlery is a bit weird as well as the giant square paper plates. Seem round plates would fit better on the round tables. Food was good, service fast. Wish they had acoustic tiles in the ceiling. The noise level is a bit high. But if you prefer there's a small courtyard out front with pretty umbrellas. Nice place to eat to eat!

My girlfriend and two good friends visited Circa 1892 during a trip to Colonial Beach. It has an upscale feel to it, but also a cozy, down to earth one. They served fantastic wine and food. It was a memorable experience. A special thanks to Jenna and her other colleagues who made our visit so special. Highly recommended!

This trendy upscale cheese and wine shop is amazing. The ambiance is classy, with the aroma of fresh cheese filling the air.Their “Boardwalk Sandwich” which features ricotta cheese, prosciutto, spinach, and peppers on a wonderful baguette is a mouthwatering combination I will be coming back for.The red pepper/cucumber soup was a standout too. Creamy, with a pleasant kick of spice, and the refreshing taste of cucumber, it was the perfect soup to enjoy on a warm day.Ended up ordering an incredible charcuterie tray to go for a party. It looked like art. Not kidding, it looked like something you would see on TV. And it was every bit as delicious as it looked.The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about their products, offering great recommendations for pairings and answering all my questions with enthusiasm.Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this cheese and wine shop. The sandwiches and soup were delicious, the charcuterie tray amazing, and the staff's friendly and helpful attitude added to the experience. I would highly recommend checking out this place if you're a fan of cheese, wine, and great service.

Great addition to Colonial Beach! My group and I went here for lunch on Friday and had the Boardwalk and Osprey sandwich's with a side of the Circa 1892 salad and two add on drink. Both sandwiches were delish but the Osprey was particularly scrumptious!!The shop in the store has well curated selection of beer, wine, and charcuterie items with various accessories to make a perfect beach lunch! Staff is also very friendly and helpful with their suggestions for pairings and items to try!
