Make sure to come hungry. The fresh guacamole ? is delicious. We had the burrito California and the burrito texanos, both of which were huge. If we didn’t have to drive we would have tried the colorful flaming drinks which looks festive and somewhat dangerous ?. Definitely worth a stop!

Service was prompt, friendly and helpful. Chips, salsa and a white sweet dip came out directly and we ordered guacamole too- again, it came very quickly and was delicious. Had lime margaritas with a flaming lime on top! And our dinners of chimichanga and enchiladas were fantastic! The cheesecake was amazing too! And excellent coffee was freshly brewed. Our server was attentive but gave us time to go over the menu. The manager checked on us as well. Overall our favorite Mexican Restaurant by FAR. We will definitely be back!

An unassuming outside appearance and a lightly decorated but compact interior. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had, and the food was stellar.

Delicious food! I was totally surprised as I knew nothing about El Toro. All fresh and top notch ingredients. The flan was great. The service was outstanding and Francisco, my server, was extremely helpful.

The food is very fresh. I got the fajitas texanas and the fried ice cream, they were both excellent. The bathrooms were clean and the service was good. I will be coming back.

I had the most incredible birthday celebration that exceeded all expectations. An explosion of flavors – from the crunchy tacos, divine enchiladas and da bomb burrito, to zesty guacamole and the best chicken quesadilla EVER, every dish was a testament to the artistry of Mexican cuisine. Let’s not forget the Pineapple Margarita and Pina Colada, perfectly blended and served. The decor is fresh, there was care in the decor selection and stunning art—stands above any Mexican restaurant I’ve been to, with only one close second. The waiters were extremely attentive, but not invasive. The food arrived in a timely fashion. The moment the waiters brought out a sombrero and placed it on my head, I knew something special was about to happen. A spectacular flaming tequila shot was brought towards me. The waiters erupted into a joyful rendition of "Happy Birthday," clapping and cheering as I blew out the flames and savored the flavorful tequila – a birthday experience to remember. The staff's enthusiasm and the genuine warmth they shared made the night truly memorable. Their energetic rendition of "Happy Birthday" in harmony with the sombrero and tequila shot added an extra touch of authenticity and joy to the entire celebration. From the flavorsome cuisine to the cheerful ambiance and the extra special touch of the flaming birthday tequila shot, this fiesta will not be soon forgotten. If you’re in the area, make a point to dine at El Toro. If you aren’t in the area-maybe you should be?

2 lunch specials 38$! They charge extra for hot sauce and $3.50 for a spoonful of water beans. 3 stars and that's being nice. The food is fair.

I didn't think I'd ever go here but I did. I had the Tacos Vegetariano. I would eat this everyday for lunch if it wasn't the natural human tendency is to get tired of something even if it's a great experience every time. The waitress was super nice and attentive to the table. I felt like the only person in the room even though almost every table was full of eager diners. That's how good this waitress was. She wasn't on the menu so her service was a nice bonus along with the authentic Mexican tacos. It's the kind of tacos so good that you'll use your fork to eat the stuff that has fallen to the plate. The fountain Coca Cola was also better than what you usually get. The mix of Coke syrup and carbonated water was spot on. This is where the locals go as it's tucked away in the Food Lion shopping center, Beachgate is the proper name.
