⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem! Hunan Diner in Colonial Beach is truly a hidden gem with a cozy, classic diner feel that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The warm, relaxed atmosphere is perfect for sitting back and enjoying a comforting meal. The egg drop soup was delicious, and the Triple Delight with white rice was a great balance of flavorful meats and fresh veggies. The hot tea was perfect and added to the overall comforting experience. Between the friendly locals and the welcoming owners, my first visit was awesome—everyone made it feel like a place where regulars and newcomers are treated the same. I’ll definitely be back!

1. the rice was cold 2. the meat tasted like it had been in the freezer for YEARS 3. the egg rolls smelled like they were rotting away and he burnt them in a MICROWAVE. 4. the lo mein wasnt even the color lo mein should be and tasted oddly spicy?? 5. all of it was microwaved and he put it in a pan and pretended he cooked it in said pan

I will never eat at this place again. I ordered takeout and was served some spoiled chicken. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp and was given sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was old and spoiled. You could smell the ammonia smell coming out of the container!

This is a hidden gem in Colonial Beach. If you are in the area, it is the best Chinese restaurant I have been to in years. The family owned restaurant has been there for over 35 years and the locals love it. Highly recommend
Parking: Larger lot in the back. No need to park on the street
