Strange place. Needed to be cleaned and painted. The staff was confused and the food was subpar. No reason to go there,other restaurants in the area.

The Lighthouse is a restaurant on the water with a marina right outside so the scenery is great. Brianna was our server and she was very attentive. From a smile as we entered, ordering drinks and ordering food, she was always there right when she needed to be. Great job! I ordered shrimp as an appetizer. Great presentation with good flavor. I had mild wings as an entree with ranch. The wings were done just right and I really enjoyed them. It was a fun meal. I plan to return to try the Sunday brunch at some point in the near future.

1: The online menu does not accurately reflect the actual menu. I asked the waitress why this was. She explained that there was a new owner and that the old owner still had control over the old menu.2: The drink menu, specifically the beer menu, was extremely limited. There was not a lot of solid choices to choose from.3: I looked through the menu and it appeared that it was a lot of generic pre frozen food. I looked through the menu and ordered a steak and cheese to be safe. I was very dissapointed. It was definately one of the most bland steak and cheeses I've ever had.4: End of the review. I think this place switched owners and the quality of the food took a nosedive. They charge waaaaay too much for the quality of the food. And the menu that is advertised to the public does not accurately reflect the actual menu here. I would ultimately not suggest this place to anyone looking for a good meal away from home.

Food was good except the baked potato. It was either overcooked or sat in a warmer too long. It was very dark, dried out and overdone. They were out of some Menu items. The service was great and the Server very pleasant.

Ok this Place has a new chief , who is fantastic!!! My Girlfriend & I eat there & she ordered scallops & they were a bit spicey , she told the waitress & we didn't expect anything, just wanted to let them know, 10 mins.later the waitress came out wa new plate of scallops & they were fantastic! We also meet the chief, he wanted to make sure we were happy!! Thats great custermer service & great food!!! Oh they are now serving breakfast..

We visit Colonial Beach often, and this has always been one of our favorite restaurants. We had dinner here and it was amazing. I had the grilled chicken salad and my fiancé had the steak. The steak was cooked perfectly (I always hold my breath bc he is PICKY about his steak). The item that stood out the most, was the Thai Shrimp (see photo). Wow! Made the trip based on reviews and partly on the name. There wasn’t a tablecloth to be seen, and we almost left based on the appearance inside, but we were hungry. The only thing French about this place was the name, it was more southern dive. My wife ordered blackened mahi-mahi and I ordered the shrimp and grits. Both were tasty but the mahi-mahi was over cooked. For what you get it was way overpriced. Another issue was the parking area was not lit at all

Really good food, I had seafood platter broiled meal really good, crab cakes also very good very little filler. Ice tea excellent.Only went there because dockside was closed. Sorry Shannon. Lighthouse well worth it.

Good menu, crab cakes were all crab. Out of a couple of things on the menu. Friendly service. Beach prices but not unreasonable. Generous glass of wine. Plenty of parking. Good specialty drinks.

Thanks Chef Charlie for our incredible omelets this Sunday. It was so amazing, I took my perfectly grilled toast and soaked up every single drop of omelet juice! Great service! Great view outside onto Monroe Bay, also very nice inside seating with views. Next Sunday Chef Charlie has promised his famous lasagna...I so wish I'd still be in town. Definitely a five star from me ?

I gave 5 stars because most establishments in Westmoreland don't seem to have Hard Seltzer available? Not sure why?This establishment DOES. And it was welcoming and clean restrooms. Friendly environment!
