Stopped to grab a bite to bring back to our VRBO rental after hitting up a local brewery. Wasn't on our list of places to try but got on there by a different eatery being closed. Glad they made the list!!!
I ordered a shredded pork sandwich while the pretty lady ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich. We shared a side of the over seasoned steak fries as well.
We stayed less than a few minutes up the road so the drive didn't effect the meals. The chicken...

Fantastic place! Super friendly people, welcoming atmosphere. Appears very popular with locals. Everything we ordered was lovely - all really fresh, perfectly cooked etc. Relaxed and unhurried.

Great NC Style BBQ joint in Colonial Beach. Large portions. Good prices. Quick and friendly service. Fried chicken sandwich was great also. They sell bottled domestic beers to wash it all down. I went twice while I was in town. Only a few tables inside but there is covered patio seating.
