Went by here because I was told about it from a friend who has lived in the area all of his life. He said it was a Covington tradition. When you walk in, you know exactly what you're in for. It does not give you the feel of a 5-star restaurant, It is a dive. So I grabbed a few things I was suggested. I'm a big eater and I was rather ready to enjoy some food, so I didn't hold back here. I got 3 dogs. My go to dog was Ketchup, Mustard and Chili. I got what my family calls a "Beau dog" which is sauerkraut and coleslaw and then I got one with just Mustard. I got an order of onion rings and fries. Dogs were good. Buns were well crunchy and dry. I think maybe stale is the word, however, they were 100% edible and didn't really ruin anything. I have had a lot worse. I would rather have stale bun than one that is soaking wet. Which has happened with dogs before. The onion rings were a bit overcooked, but I think that's just how they do it. All in all, it did not disappoint and if you are on the fence. Do it.

Why are the hot dogs bright red? Couldn't find a description as to why. Thought they'd be spicy or something but weren't. They were so so. Chili was ok.
