Google listing shows open on saturday, but they were not when i showed up. Not sure why but kinda a waste of time arriving and nobody being here

Wonderful family moment

The sandwiches were out very quickly once ordered and they hit the spot. Both were tasty. The chips are a bag of Wise potato chips, not very fancy. The coconut cream pie is worth trying, very creamy and delicious.

What a true gem this boutique restaurant is! While staying nearby, we decided to explore the local countryside and, after a glorious drive, ended up in Covington at lunchtime. We walked around, stopped in a couple of charming shops, and checked TripAdvisor for nearby restaurants. And that is how we happened upon the James Burke Eatery! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches! Our freshly brewed and chilled ice teas hit the spot. And our server - I believe her name is Sarah - was welcoming, friendly and informative. Thank you James Burke Eatery and TripAdvisor for a delightful luncheon experience!

We enjoyed our Hattie and James Burke lunch sandwiches; each came with a bag of potato chips on the side. Missed out on the Pecan chocolate chip pie due to time. Friendly service. Parking in rear.

Worth the few minutes off the interstate wild rice chicken soup and James Burke sub was delicious! Friendly quick service was a great benefit!

We stopped here for lunch while we were sightseeing. Our sandwiches were all delicious!! I had the courthouse sandwich. It was so good!!! Our waitress was amazing! She let us know all of the specials and made us feel absolutely welcome. She was amazing. The atmosphere was very comfortable. We loved sitting and reading all of the little signs on the walls.
