The Rail Bar & Grille

The bbq egg rolls were overcooked,the shrimp scampi had hot sauce in it. I would recommend they should leave out the hot sauce,maybe offer it on the side. My husband liked his garlic parmesan chicken wings,but he gave me one to eat,I didn't like it. Friendly waitress. Clean

Just passing through. A welcomed oasis off of I-64. It is definitely a local bar & grill -- the food was good; the service great; and the atmosphere -- a local bar & grill! A solid 4.5-stars worthy of a stop.

very friendly and nice place to grab a drink and visit.

Went to this bar at 10 30 pm on a friday. Grill was closed so I ordered cheese fries which they put bacon on because she didn't write anything down.Also got pickles that was hard as a rock. While I was setting wondering what kind of drink I was going to get my wife and I were getting stared at angrily. Then the waitresses started turning all the TV off and slamming the chairs around us. Website says they close at 1am by the way. My wife and I ended up going to Burger King for our anniversary.

The largest wings I've ever had. $15 buck 8 wings and fries. Or 10 wings no fries same $. Sweet teriyaki is the best. 10 will fill you up.
4 stars on service only because I want my beer refilled quicker. Order taken quicker...I want them wings.

Ordered bone in chicken wings. There was bad chicken mixed in with good chicken. Tasted off and made me sick. Do not eat there!

Rolled into Covington on a Sunday evening when most places were closed. Found The Rail which was near our room at the Hampton Hotel. Small place with a bar, a few tables and some outside seating. Friendly lady server. Catfish dinner was just OK but the pulled pork sandwich was fantastic. Still thinking about how good it was. Lucky that we found The Rail.

We went here for lunch and were able to get a nice booth and drinks right away. The menu had a wide variety of things to choose from healthier options to a go to cheeseburger and many things in between. Plenty of room for families large and small or a nice place to cozy up to and enjoy a drink at the bar. The tables were nicely spaced out so you weren't bumping into other people or tables and chairs. We will definitely look forward to our next visit.

I'm not gonna lie, I was kinda sketch of going in here. When pulling up on a Saturday night, I got the bar vibe before going in, especially with the 21+ signs they have posted. We decided to give it a shot though.
We walked in and it was very quiet with people eating. We sat down and our waitress took our order.
The food was very good, and the service was great also. We were pleasantly surprised and glad we went.
The only complaint I had, was it was nice and quiet and people were enjoying their dinners. Then a younger couple, a blonde with her boyfriend came in to eat. Apparently the blonde worked there but was off that night. As soon as they came in and sat down, she went and turned the music on rather loudly through the restaurant, while her boyfriend went and changed the TVs and started adjusting the lighting, knocking dust everywhere. It was a very nice atmosphere before those 2 came in and changed it from a nice relaxing dinner, to a loud bar. We did enjoy the food and service though!

This is a small restaurant with a bar. They have really good food every thing I've had there has been good and never had bad service. They also have outside seating when it's nice weather.
