We are from out of town and were shocked how good the food was here, especially after some poor dining experiences at other highly rated restaurants in the area. The oxtail, jerk chicken tacos, boneless curry chicken, BBQ ribs, and cabbage where amazing. The kids' menu has both Island and American kid food. The prices are good; they could be charging more for food of this quality. This is mostly a take-out place, and even when we ate in they brought out the food in to-go bags with disposable tableware. The building is bright and tidy, with a nice restroom. Order online ahead of time, the food is made to order.

When you are in covington va make sure you stop by this place and grab you some of this delicious flavorful food. One of my favorite dishes are jerk chicken wings and the curry chicken. But if you don't want too much spice they have multiple other amazing dishes! Shrimp chicken taters n veggies!!! Also the rice n beans are meant to be eaten with cabbage and Meats. I like to put some of that extra meat gravy juice on mine! The best ever!!! Authentic taste of Jamaica right here and a true gem to this area!Vegetarian options: They have steamed veggies and cabbage also plantains and yummy rice can make a whole vegetarian meal!!!Dietary restrictions: Any concerns for dietary needs they are so helpful and caring about to make sure it's perfect for you!!!!Parking: I feel like there is never enough parking because people love coming here but I promise you it's always always always worth the wait

An absolute gem in the area. Never would have thought to find fantastic Jamaican food in the middle of rural Virginia, but boy did we! As far as I'm concerned, this is the best restaurant in the entire area, despite not even having an interior dining area. Their portion sizes are more than generous, their prices are phenomenal, and the food was incredible. The only dish we didn't love was the rice and beans, because they were a little bland, but even the cabbage side was fantastic. We had some of the best ribs I've ever had across the country from here, and their jerk chicken tacos were so huge and loaded, my wife and I couldn't even finish a single order together, and we are no slouches when it comes to caloric intake...
