Voted best in the Valley for a reason. When you pull up the smoke alone tells you are in for some good food. The brisket was tender and juicy, the Mac n cheese was good too.

The ribs are to die for, always my go to! Hush puppies are good, onion rings are always nice & crisp, Mac & cheese is tasty! It’s a smaller restaurant so seating options are sort of limited, but it is spacious enough for a family. The service is always friendly & done in a timely manner.

I had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw and it was so good I got a lb of pulled pork to take home!
We loved the excellent beef brisket and chunky potato salad! The baked beans were pretty darn good, too. Thank you! Now the only complaint is craving it when we live in Staunton. :)

Pulled pork and brisket sandwiches were huge and delicious. The only reason for the 4 star rating for food was there wasn't much cheddar cheese on the brisket sandwich, hush puppies were small and only 5 of them, potato salad was kind of plain. But all the food was very good. Fries were fantastic and needed nothing. Everyone was very friendly, both staff and other customers. Well worth the drive from our home in Natural Bridge. Definitely will go back when the opportunity arises.
Vegetarian options: It's BBQ! Vegans/vegetarians need not bother.
Parking: Huge parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: None today but even kids enjoy good BBQ.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot and entrance are flat. Doorway is reasonably wide.
