My husband and I went in for a early dinner… he ordered the gator bites which were good and the fried oysters and noticed they were cut up pieces of oyster and covered in a hard breading obviously fried in dirty grease… I got the fish and chips “ cod” which was burnt as well as the burnt hush puppies.. and my husband’s cup of coke literally smelled like it was dipped in the toilet… one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had!!

The food was good but it didn't live up to the hype! The service was great though! It was only one girl and she was doing literally everything except cook. The atmosphere was dry, dull, kind of sad but it's nice inside. Maybe I'll have to go back a different night! Fingers

The food was awesome and fresh. It is very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get! I will be going back!

Disappointed. For the price, the quality of food should have been better. It also took a long time to get food that was cold.

We had 5 in our group for lunch. Everyone got something different, and everyone enjoyed their meal.

First went to this place on a Fri for lunch w/friends only to discover it closed w/o explanation - door signs all indicated it should've been open. Oh, well - went to Grass Rootes instead & had a terrific meal.Went back 2 weeks later to try again - it's open - we chose a table that looked clean, server came & took drink order - iced tea & a beer. Never seen such weak tea - it was mostly water. Ordered dinner: oyster roll & shrimp w/grits. While waiting we looked around the interior - very bare bones, warehouse- thrift store decor. No ambience - very poor HVAC - hot in there, really nothing to like about the interior. Dinner arrived approx 40 mins later - lobster roll first - a few mins later, the shrimp & grits which is like soup! It's in a big soup bowl & is so liquid I had to ask for a spoon to eat it. I've never seen this item presented in such a way. We ate what we could - shrimp was tasty but way too much base & seasoning - way too soupy. Took home remaining 2/3 of this dish; hubby ate his entire meal but found it mediocre at best.Later that night, I needed Pepto Bismol to help with indigestion from shrimp & grits. Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Basically a rip-off of the old Davis Street Pier. A few items were good, their chicken wings especially. But if you're not part of their "circle" you're a bother to them. One of the owners is a complete... piece of work. Much better service and food is to be had just up the hill at Grass Rootes. Hopefully, they'll figure out that insulting and alienating paying customers isn't how one survives as a restaurant in a small town like Culpeper.

The staff was standing around and totally ignored us when we entered. There were dirty dishes on an adjacent table during our entire meal; they didn’t bother to clean it up, even with plenty of time/workers available. The food was mediocre. I don’t recommend.

Very nice place! Good food and a casual atmosphere. We came from out of town so this was a nice find for dinner.

This was second time eating here. Both my wife and I order hamburgers. They were both very good.

We took our family for dinner as first time visitors. The food was fresh and prepared well. Our server was friendly and attentive, albeit she was stretched thinly as they were short staffed. The atmosphere was suited for casual / rustic dining, but could use some updates on the finishes. Overall it was a good experience.

Parking: Street parking was available.

Thank you Brick City Grille for great food, and good service with a smile. We have eaten there probably once a week since the restaurant opened and always been very pleased and satisfied. Keep up the good work!!

Went there for dinner last night. All three of us thought the food was great. The hard copy menu doesn't tell you this, but online they said when you order fish and chips you can ask for regular fish or catfish. I ordered half order of catfish fish and chips and it was really big. Tasted great. Biggest treat of the night was our server, Meghan. She was fantastic. Checked on us several times. Very friendly and quick. No problem at all on refills.

Parking: There is a free parking lot just across the street. We actually parked on the street very near the door.
