No longer appears to be in business. Mexican restaurant there now. Wasted trip And hard to find breakfast anywhere else after 12 noon

This is quite hard to write but I sure wish others would have been able to be more honest so that we could have avoided a rather awkward meal. This couple, the owners are absolutely adorable but they are way past due to retire, I felt sorry for the wife, she should not be bussing tables at her age. Charlie kept repeating back orders to 7 of us (3 different parties) and each time he was not accurate. This place is not clean and to be honest worrisomely so. I ordered French toast and he grabbed a bowl off a shelf that looked really gross and I assume it had eggs in there) and dipped my plain white bread in it. I know there are many that likely go to support this older couple but the entire thing made me sad.

Charlie and Litsa are just the sweetest couple you'll ever meet! Charlie is behind the counter making the food and serving while Litsa taking orders (as well as Charlie) and making sure you've got everything you need. They seem like such a great team. Really good home cooked food. Their pancakes are the best I've had out to eat...ever! Even beats Cracker Barrel's. The eggs were cooked perfectly as well as their really good home fries! I could see how it could get busy on the weekend and how you'd be sitting close to others, but go on a weekday if you have a chance or really early on the weekend. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall, but the experience & food make up for it!!!

While the owners are such a nice, charming older couple the business itself offers very little. First of all they only take cash which we did not know and had to drive to our bank's ATM. Secondly, there is very little seating and you are crammed on top of your neighbor and while this could also be viewed as charming, the seat I sat in was under a leak in their AC's ductwork and I was dripped on by "water" the entire time in my hair and lap. The home fries were good as were the pancakes but the Charlie's omelet my friend had was very overcooked and had very little in it aside from some very disgusting under ripe tomatoes. I really would've liked to have liked our visit as I had heard great things about the sweet couple who ran this business but sorry to say we will not be back. Oh and our total for 2 pancakes, 2 orders of homefries, toast, one omelet, one coffee one large orange juice was $29! Plus the $5 tip we left because I honestly just felt sorry for this overworked old couple.

The couple that runs the restaurant were wonderfully nice people and the service was good. The meal I had was just ok (undercooked eggs and bland sausage gravy) but what bothered me was the lack of cleanliness for a restaurant.

I love this couple. Tasty home cooked meal, friendly atmosphere. You gotta live this couple. What a nice touch to the community.

Sign on door - New hours: Wed-Sunday 7am to 1pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Cash only. Bacon, corned beef, Charlie omelet, eggs good. Charlie's been cooking over 50 years. Sweet couple.

Good food. Good company. When I go there I feel like family. Prices are reasonable. I had Charlie's omelet and it was awesome.

Best breakfast place in Culpeper! You've gotta catch them when they're open because they have limited hours. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere and the food is delicious!!!!

Very small diner. Food is great for breakfast and lunch. They do not take credit cards.

This is a must if you're in the area. They are wonderful and make a lot of homemade dishes.

Small and quaint with amazing food! It's a very popular place so you may have to wait for a spot but it's worth it. The french toast might be the best I've ever had! Make sure you have cash, it's cash only.
