Owner was very easy to deal with, reserved a large party for a retirement function. They accommodated preparing for 20ish guest initially that grew into double that through the event. Completed all orders without issues, salad bar was on point if you like comfort foods. Restaurant and bathroom was clean and staff were quick and professional. Definitely did justice to the original country cooking and kept the old Culpeper friendly atmosphere of family alive. Will definitely be back with family or for future functions. Thank you for the hospitality.

Food is decent, but over priced. Service is less than stellar. If you go, bring your own waitress.

Went for breakfast, because I love their waffles. They're no longer available. Breakfast was $13.99 and a drink was $2.59. Ridiculous.prices. Never again. Service was fine. Not their fault.

Stopped in on a Saturday morning for the breakfast buffet. CC does a breakfast buffet on weekends only - from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon. Sat at a table and then went for the buffet. Dished up a biscuit with sausage gravy on one plate; on another: a pancake, scrambled eggs, a sausage patty, corned beef hash, and a small bowl of breakfast potatoes. Plus coffee and water. The sausage gravy was pretty decent. I did add salt, black pepper, and hot sauce to the gravy. The scrambled eggs were overdone. The bacon is the most thinly sliced thing you've ever seen - it ends up being a series of curled up balls of bacon. The corned beef hash and pancake were actually pretty good for a buffet - although I would prefer more of a crisp on the corned beef hash. The breakfast potatoes were unremarkable. Coffee was average. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #CountryCookin

This happened once after church. They were expecting a big crowd I guess and everyone was in a big tizzy. My iced tea came and had ONE tiny ice cube in it. The lemon was submerged in the tea ( don't they know the customer has to fish that out to squeeze it ? ). Anyway , the waitress didn't make any eye contact and never came back to check if everything was OK--not at all. No chance for a refill. Very impersonal service. I got the shrimp "feast" and it was that dreadful over-breaded stuff. I wanted to ask for some lemon for it, but no one even made eye contact to attend to me at all. I left feeling really let down so left a very tiny tip. The management knows better so please teach their waitresses how to do it right. Otherwise they won't make much of a living if they depend on their tips. You have to make the person eating there seem special. I was practically ignored. Clean up the act and I might be back, but it will hopefully be a better experience. This time was DEPRESSING !
Best mac n cheese and mashed potatoes I've ever had from a buffet.

The steak and salmon is good. Some of the bar food is okay but not wonderful. Server was nice but only got one refill. Food is overpriced for what you get. Women’s bathroom is missing part of the toilet seat.

Went to this one with a couple buddies service was incredibly slow, entree portions are laughable. Our service only came.to our table like twice throughout the whole visit when he came, he didn't seem to care whatsoever.

My local location in Fredericksburg closed years ago and I remember always going with my mom. We recently took a trip to this location and it brought back so many memories.
