I had a grilled cheese sandwich as well as a brownie and root beer. The staff were incredible and the environment was very cozy. Would recommend!

While we were in Culpepper visiting from Fredericksburg, we stumbled across this amazing gem! My boyfriend and I looooove cheese and just had to go in. We were immediately greeted with smiles and samples of a cheese the owner was cutting for a patron. I forgot what cheese he handed us to try but it was delicious! We were eyeing the brownies and then also handed a sample to try. They had so many amazing options, meats, and quiche. They even had a cute seating area tucked in the back for you to sit down and enjoy food and beverages. We ended up walking away buying half a Brie and a brownie.
We just finished half of our Brie at home and it was honestly so good. We will absolutely be back to try some more of their cheesy goodness.

Went in for a hard to find, specialty cheese & they A)had it & B)were all polite. Three different staffers I worked with and/or made eye contact with and they all were smiles & helpful. Will be returning to try the restaurant eventually.

Spent an absolutely lovely afternoon here eating a delicious lunch and getting to know Jeff, an amazingly kind guy whose knowledge of cheese and everything else having to do with food seemed boundless. Wound up walking out with a lot more than I thought I would just because everything was so tempting.

Visited this morning for the first time. It was a fantastic experience. The staff were helpful, friendly, and most importantly knowledgeable. We made three selections. Two were guided (I was looking for an aged Cheddar with crystals) and one impulse buy. All were excellent. This is not the cheese store for your average American cheese consumer, but the perfect place for those with more experienced palates. We will be back!

My husband and I are ‘touring Virginia’ (we live in Western NC) and enjoy historical areas… this shop could not have any better! From the husband & wife, who own/run it and greeted us upon entry to guiding us where to find things we were interested in … with a glass of wine, some cheese, and crackers… Sitting on the back deck was a pleasure as we ate/drank our mid-day snack. My husband and I highly recommend it 😊.

Amazing experience! We were greeted right away and welcomed with samples of some cheese to try. We sat outside and waited for our food which came quickly, and it was incredible. My friend who tried the Mac and cheese said that it was the best she has had in her life. The BLT was amazing as well.

Now this place gets 5 stars for being the whole package. I was entranced by the Wine, Cheese, and Beer sign outside representing the 3 major food groups. Upon entering your greeter by a lovely display of meats and cheeses....all of which are superb.
The crew was super friendly, helpful, and their service was top notch. The place was clean and quaint!
Can't wait to come back during my next visit.

Yes to this local business providing excellent cheese and delicious lunch selection! I enjoyed the Parisienne sandwich, which had ample French ham, emmental cheese, mustard and cornichon. DELICIOUS! It was served on soft ciabatta with crisp, thin chips and a pickle spear. I also enjoyed the crab soup which was light, aromatic and flavorful with PLENTY of juicy crab meat.

On a whim (since we love cheese) and while traveling through Culpeper, we stopped by and let Jeffrey make a spontaneous charcuterie tray for us to bring to a local winery on our travels. It was sooooo perfectly matched and delicious!!! Will definitely stop by again when in town!!
