While we were in Culpepper visiting from Fredericksburg, we stumbled across this amazing gem! My boyfriend and I looooove cheese and just had to go in. We were immediately greeted with smiles and samples of a cheese the owner was cutting for a patron. I forgot what cheese he handed us to try but it was delicious! Went in for a hard to find, specialty cheese & they A)had it & B)were all polite. Three different staffers I worked with and/or made eye contact with and they all were smiles & helpful. Will be returning to try the restaurant eventually.
Spent an absolutely lovely afternoon here eating a delicious lunch and getting to know Jeff, an amazingly kind guy whose knowledge of cheese and everything else having to do with food seemed boundless. Wound up walking out with a lot more than I thought I would just because everything was so tempting.
