First time there. The menu is large. I ordered the hamburger with cabbage soup. I had a roast beef sandwich which gave you a large cut of roast beef. My wife had a delicious short rib sandwich. The restaurant is quaint with wall murals and a lot of atmosphere. Definitely will return. Service was outstanding.
I use to love this place but the last few times we have gone back, the food has been a let down unfortunately.
Hey Google, it's a restaurant not a hotel.
Great food and great service. I highly recommend it!
i went a few days ago to stop for food and the first thing i noticed was the atmosphere. it was cute, and european but the food was not as good. the penne was absolutely DROWNED in butter and the wrap was cold and flavorless. tho focaccia was really good tho!
We ate lunch today and it was fabulous. Beef pot pie with a side salad. Absolutely delicious!
This is a review for the restaurant. The food was great! Very attentive service and great atmosphere. We were a little underdressed, but the owner(?) came right over and seated us. They care and made for a great date night.
Always great food and service. Rosemary focaccia bread is amazing.
Despite being very busy, service was quick and the food was good. The bun for my short rib sandwich was lackluster, but not a deal breaker. Many different kinds of customers, old, young, and families. Bathroom was clean and serviceable. The free bread was excellent - I ate too much of it before the meal.
Google seems to think this is a hotel, but it is a restaurant.
I never had that bad, tasteless, stinky food which is overly priced, and service wasn’t best either.
Don’t order lamb chops or stew. It is nothing but a worthless place welcoming customers to rip them off.
I left 25% knowing not a fault of servers, very first time upset paying 200 for unrealistically disgusting food.
And One Obvious Thing: they had very limited menu to pick from, and still the worst food. They couldn’t make a few collections of their choice , that restaurant should be shut down!
Get the Smoked Trout. Trust us. It is delicious.
Food is good but it is very dark during dinner service. Would love to see the fine food we are served.
Good spot for good food. Turn up the lights just a little.👍

Tragic. This was our family's favorite restaurant in Culpeper for many years. Our most recent visit was shocking, poor service, food was mediocre, and prices have skyrocketed. Something is amiss. Maybe the ownership changed, or the owner is no longer actively managing? Such a tragedy. We will not be returning.
Wonderful date night..❤️🐞🇺🇸💋
Aesthetically pleasing. Top tier service. Yes, at first it seems a little intimidating with the prices. However, they say you get what you pay for! Here you get impeccable flavor, quality, quantity, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely worth taking the time to sit and enjoy the people, food, and drinks. We had the prime rib special for just under $20 and then the sea salt caramel gelato as a shared dessert. Chef's kiss to everything! Will definitely make a return trip, and that's saying a lot since I'm over an hour away from home just visiting the area. Absolutely amazing, totally refreshed and ready to take on the rest of this trip. Thanks for everything!
MHAI smelled Rancid. No one asked how the meal turned out, even after leaving almost the entire cut untouched for fear of putrifaction.
Absolutely delicious food
