This is a local favorite, and I'm sure there are many other more eloquent reviews of this place, but may I say this restaurant is just wonderful. It's pricey, so be advised...but the service is impeccable, the food is absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy. If you're blessed enough to eat here often, great; but for special occasions otherwise, a great place to go!

It's About Thyme in Culpeper double booked their lodging that was supposed to be so highly rated, completely their fault. We’ve had this booked for over a month and they sent us an email tonight, not even a phone call. It’s our anniversary weekend and we are left with no lodging reservation and two dinner reservations shot. Their response was nothing. No dinner comp, nothing, but a snippy attitude. Obviously customer service isn’t their strong suit either. I used to recommend them; never again.

Extraordinary! The service is exceptional. The restaurant is fabulous and the rooms are absolutely lovely. The downtown area is quaint in such a pleasant way. We were in town for a very small, intimate wedding and the wedding party had the reception dinner at It's About Thyme. My husband and I stayed in one of their rooms and are so happy we did. It was a wonderful experience!

We ate dinner at the restaurant, not sure how to change this to a food review rather than a hotel review. This is a small town fine dining experience and we were there for our anniversary. Wonderful staff and food was delicious. I tried the duck breast and my wife had the open face ham sandwich, and shared a slice of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Highly recommend this for any special occasion.

The lamb and filet were delicious. The filet I got was better than steak I’ve had at Fahrenheit in Fburg. I appreciated how attentive the staff were and the atmosphere.

I’ve eaten here many times thinking, “that last time was just a fluke, it’ll be better.” Nah, not really. I’ve given up and the main reason, oddly enough, is the constant looping around of the staff. You can hardly have a conversation because of the interruption. Sometime the food is good and sometimes not. The bread is always wonderful.

As usual, I visit new places and restaurants ! To explore ! This time I decided to go to Culpeper !This place was one of the best reviewsWe went without reservation !It was full -We waited for 10 minutesWe have been seated on a shared table !! Yes shared without we notice at the beginning!That was a deal breaker ! Usually, the customer should agree ! And we had zero table privacy and I talk without my kids listening to stranger adult's conversation!The food was in fair quantity!The greens were fresh.The duck was not so greatThe chicken fingers were less then usualThe chicken sandwich was okayThe drinks were okay !The staff were not super nice ! Need to work on their skillsThere was a guy ! Which I assume was the manager or something ! Was not nice at all! After a minute in the table ! Asked if you need help with the menue ! And he had angry face! And he was even not nice when he took the order!The younger staff were nicer !However, I liked the paints on the wall, one of them reminded me of France!Over priced !

We came here for a date night. It was a wonderful experience. I had the warm apple cider and filet mignon. I have never had a steak cook so perfectly. My fiance had the duck and the cherry sauce was amazing. The desserts were also great and they have so many options to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxing and we loved all the live plants. The service was also great, everyone helped with everything, our waters never went empty, but they also were not overbearing.
