This place is a quiet little ice cream shop in Culpeper's historic downtown. The ice cream is advertised as Giffords, which is an old school brand from my (long ago) youth. It’s delicious- second only to that of the Ole Country Store, but this place is open until 9PM. The staff was great, and very helpful. It’s worth checking out.

Excellent hand scooped ice cream in Culpeper, VA! Great location and the owner (Mindel) is such a pleasure to speak with! The shop also sells candy and drinks too! Conveniently located on Davis street with plenty of shops/restaurants within walking distance. Samples are offered if you are unsure of your flavor but the s’mores is my favorite! Nondairy options are also available!

As a girly with food allergies there’s hardly ever an option for me. Scoop on Davis not only had one vegan option, they had 6. And 4 of those options were also gluten free! I got a scoop of vegan, gluten free caramel and a scoop of vegan, gluten free coffee ice cream! It was amazing and such a treat! 10/10 recommend and 10/10 I will be back!!

They have Superman ice cream!! AND color changing spoons!! Red when cold and yellow when warm!! Ok….now that’s fun! Great staff and helpful and so cheerful! Def the place to stop for a coop or two!

DELICIOUS ice cream. I got smores and salted caramel. It seems a bit pricey, but really it's very standard for an ice cream shop in this economy. My ice cream was so flavorful and the service was great. It's in the back of a gift store, I almost thought I walked into the wrong place! Overall very nice

This little ice cream shop, nestled in the back of Poppy Chalk, has some delicious ice cream and a nice touch of charm. The staff are quite friendly and ready to serve. The ice cream & cones are not prepared on site. The ice cream is Gifford's Premium, out of Maine, a 100 year old ice cream legacy. The Choco Taco had some nice bits of chocolate and waffle cone mixed in a vanilla ice cream base. The Caramel Cold Brew was probably a little better, a nice blend of coffee ice cream with caramel swirled throughout. The toasted coconut, with nice chunks of coconut, paired very well with the Bourbon On the Rocks. Both were pretty flavorful. Serving sizes were a little skimpy, but all in all, a nice place.
