As I sit outside of Sonia's bakery, having just finished a delicious apple turnover, I thought I would offer a rating. From the moment I walked into the shop, I was struck at what a charming presentation the pastries have. They are in a long, wooden display case along the entryway. It made everything look even more inviting.I ordered the aforementioned apple turnover, which was very flakey and extremely enjoyable. The gentleman who waited on me was just as nice as could be.I sat outside at one of the two metal tables with chairs. I can certainly see coming back,

Words cannot begin to describe how awesome this place is!!! They have awesome and delicious Latino/Latina homemade, from scratch pastries and baked goods that look like they belong in a magazine or something! They also had some homemade papusas and tamales! Also had homemade horchata!!! If you are unfamiliar with Hispanic deserts or baked goods, there is an extremely nice woman who will show, explain, and recommend items for you! Be careful though! It os really easy to spend a lot of money! Everything is sooo good amd prices so fair that it is hard not to fill your tray!! Hope this place continues to succeed for many years to come!!

We love this place. My daughters and I come every so often. Service is always friendly and helpful and it is very clean. Also the baked goods are exceptional. Highly recommend. Don't go hungry or you'll leave with an empty wallet....

Wow! What an amazing place! When you enter the store you are greeted by extremely nice and accommodating staff! Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and it shows in the insanely delicious quality if their baked goods! Everything in the display is beautiful to look at and the flavors match the appearance. So many wonderful choices that I spent way too much money and plan on spending a lot more before I leave town. I gotta stock up! If baked goods are not your thing, they have other delicious food as well! I had a homemade chicken tamale, 2 homemade pork and cheese papusas, and a cup of homemade horchata to wash it all down. I could go on and on about how wonderful everything is. I strongly recommend supporting this business if you are in town and want quality food you can't find most places in the area.
