Great atmosphere, awesome DJ.
Always a good time, I've tried all kinds of their food. Drinks are top tier and artisanal, too. Servers are super friendly and check to make sure you've got everything you could want.

Do you want a place to get lit? Do you want a place to watch the middle age crowd sing karaoke s*** faced? Do you want to laugh your ass off at said karaoke. This place is so much fun to go to, I am always trying to attend Karaoke night! Not to mention they do make some decent mixed drinks, my favorite being the crash boat.

The Sangria Bowl is delightful! The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. We just happened to be there on a Trivia Night, which was very fun. The bartender is quite a good mixologist, as well. The other very appealing part is that it's situated upstairs in the historical State Theater. I highly recommend The Sangria Bowl!

Worst bowling alley I’ve ever been to. Impossible to find a lane.
Great place great people. Had family get together for daughters wedding. They made it effortlessly amazing. Will be back every time I am in Culpeper. TY
Such a great place to meet new people and get great drinks. And between karaoke, board game night, trivia, and lots of pop-up events, there’s always something fun to do here.

Where do I being on this gastronomic letdown....we were starving after rock climbing next door and thought 'game night' on their website sounded fun.....first red flag, no one was playing games. Second red flag, only 4 other people in the place and no one had food. Our tiny bowl of guacamole ($12) took 20 mins and wasn't enough to feed a small child. Now we're just holding our breath that we wake up without food poisoning in the morning. The Thai Place on main street is the place to go, don't waste your time here.

READ THE REVIEWS! Way overpriced. A small handful of chips and a spoonful of guac was $14! And somehow it took 20 minutes to get served to the table (there was no other customers eating - in hindsight, that was a sign). The tacos were acceptable, but nothing you can't grab from a fast food place for way cheaper. Go somewhere else! Didn't (and won't) try the sangria...

What a hidden gem!!! This place truly deserves 5 stars or more. The owner, waitress, DJ, and chef are all fantastic! We had a lovely relaxing dinner and came back later for karaoke/drinks and it was a party! Drinks were great and we loved the tacos, tostones, and quesadillas that we ordered. The DJ did karaoke and danced with people, what a cool dude! They also made us food even though the kitchen was closed late at night and had mocktail options. Wonderful people, service, ambiance, and food/drinks. Wish we lived here so we could come more often.

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing!! The food, service, ambiance, and drinks were all fantastic! If I wasn’t visiting for just the weekend, I would be a regular here. The owner was amazing and worked hard, the server was so friendly and helpful, and the DJ was phenomenal! This place pretty much made my visit to Culpeper.

First and last time trying the Sangria Bowl. Food and drinks are way overpriced, and the food was not good. We ordered shrimp tacos. $5 each for what appeared to be frozen breaded shrimp from a grocery store with some bad tasting sauce and some sour cream. Definitely not authentic Hispanic food. And all of the interior tables were jammed together near the bar. I assume that was because of the line dancing class earlier, but none of the staff seemed to want to move them. The tables stayed that way for the duration of our visit. We were seated directly in front of the kitchen door where I got numerous glimpses inside. Pieces of food and other debris on the floor. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is our waitress. I didn't get her name but she did a great job. There are many other great dining options in Culpeper. Use them.
