Tropical Smoothie Cafe

After waiting awhile at the empty register for help, I decided to place a mobile order instead. We sat at the table closest to the register, looked over to see a roach crawling on the wall. Left without ordering. Prefer my smoothies without roaches 🤮 No one ever came to the register or I would have said something.

Addicted to the acai bowl and the pesto flatbread, always great!

My friend Patrick spilled his drink and they were kind enough to clean it up AND remake his drink with absolutely no complaints. Very hospitable.

Culpeper’s Tropical Smoothie is such a disappointment to me. After being a customer in Lynchburg for the last 12 years, I just moved back to Culpeper and have had bad experiences every time I’ve gone in the past month. The final straw was yesterday, I wanted a free smoothie (per the online offer), but decided to get a açaí bowl and wasn’t qualified to get a free smoothie as Açaí bowl isn’t considered a meal. The issue was, I went into the store at 4pm on 3/4/24, I saw so many customers come in order and get their food, 30 minutes in I asked the cashier about my order, she looked back in the kitchen, didn’t say anything, totally ignored me and waited in the next customer. 15 minutes later needless to say after seeing more people come in order and get their food, I finally get my order, and it was made incorrectly. This is so crazy!

Don't Eat there or Buy Drinks there, the Employees SPIT IN THE CUSTOMER'S FOOD AND DRINK'S WHEN THEY ARE NOT LOOKING, ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES THAT USE TO WORK THERE TOLD ME THAT'S WHY HE QUIT WORKING THERE FOR THAT REASON

Was told they don’t make any food after 8:30pm even though they don’t close until 9:00pm. It is 8:50 right now and they turn the open sign off.

Prices have risen and they were really slow making my order. Disappointed.

I usually mobile order and pick up here. It is quick and tastes good. I will say not all TSC are consistent so I am pleased that the taste was there for me at this location.

there’s an employee here named Addison and she’s super awesome, she makes smoothies so fast and is always kind when taking my order, i hope she gets a big raise

Curbside pick is so convenient when you have a tired toddlers in the car. But what’s the point when they don’t answer their phone, or pay attention to you sitting in the pick up parking for over 15 minutes!?! Then when you walk in and stand there for a good minute, while they make eye contact with you but go to the back to talking about their work schedule. Edible strawberry straws sound pretty great as well, but I’ll never know since they never put them in the bag after paying for them. I understand good help is hard to find, but sometimes you need more then just a warm body.

The smoothies taste like they’re watered down and not sweet. Ive been to multiple other Tropical Smoothies and didn’t have that problem. 1 star for making the smoothie.

Placed and order for pick, had my mother pick it. Order a Sunrise Sunset, Jetty Jr and a Santa Fe quesadilla. She said she gave my name, employee handed her half of the order. Instead of a Sunrise Sunset was given a Bahama mama for another customer. Her Jetty Jr was barely mixed, contained big chunks of strawberries.
