We stopped by on Saturday, November 1, 2025 for lunch and had an amazing experience. Food and service was absolutely top notch. It was a pleasant surprise to see the manager, Dave, mingling with the customers, ensuring that the clientele had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Zandras in Culpeper!

Great little gem! Went with a small group of friends. Everything was delicious! Service was fantastic! I wasn’t sure what to expect looking at the menu. I had the Skirt Steak taco and it was loaded with flavor. I will be back!

Always am content with the food here. Love the nachos ! Added chicken to mine . the rice bowl is also delicious , I usually add shrimp or steak to that. The tempura shrimp tacos are amazing! And the falafel taco is one of my favorites. I miss the beef bulgogi taco that one was one of my favorites as well. The elote tots are so good ! Perfect blend of flavors and textures! The only thing that made service 4 out 5 on my last visit is the scan to pay receipt. The server did not explain it to us at all just put it down and expected us to figure it out. There may be customers that don't have the capacity to pay by scanning , id recommend explaining that process but also offering to receive payment the old fashioned way. Overall this place is excellent , highly recommend to anyone that loves tacos with a bit of a cultural fusion twist.

I popped in for some takeout before heading home. Fully expecting tacos not traveling well and becoming an amalgamation of fillings and tortilla. Holy smokes was I wrong, not only were my tacos separately wrapped and then placed in a box, also the same care was given to the elote tots. Every item was in a separate container and packed like it was military cargo. I can’t wait to come back to eat in their restaurant which I’m sure will be even better than the takeout.

We stopped by Friday night. It was extremely slow. Not necessarily a good sign. But it was a new place for us and it was delightful decor and atmosphere. Our server, Joyce, carried that vibe right along not oh humbug because her Friday night was slow. It picked up full house. The choices were out of this world on innovative margaritas and starters of the month. The regular menu was equally imaginative and crazy good. We retired here from Texas 7 years ago and there are a couple of TexMex dishes at different restaurants that we like. However, this menu will keep us coming back every week! The tacos are freshly jam full of fresh savory goodness and at a price that is absolutely reasonable. Go soon and often and enjoy. If I were you I’d ask for Joyce. She added that extra umph to a fun date night for us. Not overbearing just a fun touch.

This was a cool stop for some bites while walking around town. We tried several types. The salsa was very tasty and the service was attentive and the imaginative tacos were not something I had ever thought to create but enjoyed trying. I had the falafel and a Nashville hot chicken. To me the falafel was a stand out!

On Friday, 11/7, we had a disappointing experience due to poor service. The bartender, who was also covering tables, appeared overwhelmed, which may explain the delays. After waiting about 15 minutes, another server approached—not to take our order, but to ask for our menus so she could give them to other guests. When we explained that we hadn’t ordered yet, she walked away without a word, leaving us feeling dismissed.
A simple acknowledgment, apology, or offer to help would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction came across as abrupt and unfriendly. At that point, we decided to pay for our two drinks and leave.
As someone who has worked in restaurants, I understand how stressful it can be, but professionalism and basic courtesy are essential. Unfortunately, this experience left us with no desire to return.

This place is amazing. Wife and I ordered skirt steak tacos and the pork belly tacos. The flavor was amazing. Definitely best tacos in Culpeper area. Plus the way they package the tacos Togo is genius! Definitely our go to now.
Everything from our awesome & friendly waitress, to the delicious Birria Tacos, Queso Dip & Chips, Music and overall vibe were perfect!! Highly recommend!

I ate at Zandra's today with my husband and some friends for the very first time. The items we all picked were delicious. I got a sweet shrimp soft taco and a skirt steak soft taco. I especially loved the skirt steak soft taco. The flavors were so good and the steak cuts were tender and juicy.My husband ordered the cobb salad bowl with skirt steak and jerk chicken on the side. We shared the Mexican corn, cheese, and pork bowl with homemade corn chips. Nicole our server was super friendly and great at explaining everything on the menu. We all enjoyed our food selections and my husband and I will definitely be coming back. My daughter is looking forward to a future visit as well!
