I don't write reviews but I had to for this place. I stepped into this food hall and in the far corner was this unassuming stall. I ordered the shrimp & grits and brought it back to my work. I opened the container and savory deliciousness wafted graciously in our office. My mouth watered near immediate when I took a whiff. That bite. That first bite. I swear I had a mini seizure because that sauce was out of the world. I had my colleague try it and I saw the whites of his eyes just pop and I never seen that man widen his eyes like that.Get that shrimp & grits.

It’s inside the food hall! This place needs better directions!!!!! Once you find it. You are going to be amazed. I started eating it and I literally was thinking that this might be the best food I’ve ever tasted ???????

I drove 50 min to try out this spot. I had time, not to mention it was time for lunch and they did not disappoint. The customer service and staff were amazing. It was so hard choosing between the menu but decided to get the catfish and grits and my goodness! Simply scrumptious! The portion size was so fulfilling and the flavors were unbelievable. Can’t wait to go back and try new things. Check them out, you too will be a happy customer.

The food is very flavorful, made fresh and the staff is always helpful and pleasant. The only thing is I would recommend is that you go in person to order and pick up your food. I tried the delivery through the website once and it took an extremely long time, and it wasn't until an hour later I found out half my items were unavailable. When I spoke with the manager he was apologetic and was accommodating so the customer service was great. Overall all great food and I do recommend!!

Order the shrimp and grits and decided to ask for extra shrimp which ended up being only 2 extra shrimp for a whomping $6.

I ordered the red beans, rice and collard greens. I couldn't finish it because it was sooooo salty.

My first time in EpiQ food hall and chose here because of the amazing reviews! I was not disappointed. Ordering online was easy and sped up my wait time when I got there. Cornbread - yes, yum a thousand times. Better than most BBQ places, moist. Exactly what I wanted. Catfish - sooo good. Crispy, I loved the seasoning and the fish was so tender and it tasted very fresh. Bread pudding- I read the other reviews that the sauce spills in the container so I was extra careful carrying it. Some still spilled but no biggie. It was incredibly good, flavorful and the banana pieces lightened the density of the bread pudding. Will 100% be back.

I've eaten at Bon Mange several times and it never fails to satisfy. The food is consistently top notch, and while the menu isn't lengthy, what they do at Bon Mange they do remarkably well. Although the location is in a food hall, this is not the food you'd expect to find in such a place; it's what you'd find in a nice restaurant. I'm a huge fan of shrimp and grits and always order it when I see it on a menu. I can say without hesitation that Bon Mange has, hands down, the best shrimp and grits I've had in the DMV - probably anywhere ever, truth be told. The catfish and grits are also to die for. The catfish is seasoned and cooked just right and complements the grits and gravy perfectly. Even if you don't live in the area, Bon Mange is absolutely worth making the drive if you enjoy New Orleans style cuisine!

Food was really good, but unfortunately the service was not. I may try again if there is a different server.

This place blew my mind! I hadn’t really been looking for a New Orleans style place to eat when I was at Epiq but when I saw they had shrimp and grits, I had to give it a shot. Holy heck! The flavor was phenomenal. The shrimp were HUGE! The grits had a lot of love put into them; so dreamy and creamy. We also got the bread pudding with bananas foster and the rum sauce made my mouth water. The pudding is dense but it’s not dense when you eat it, full of good flavors and not too sweet, it definitely gets the sweet from the sauce. I think it could have used more banana but outside of that, it was stellar!

Great service and great food. My only concern is that they run out a certain dishes but they always have something delicious available.

Food and service was amazing. Gumbo and collard greens were so flavorful. Black owned, family run. Will definitely come back.
