I have probably eaten here 100 times over the years and have never ever been disappointed. Service is always good and quality of the food is always on point. The salads are the best and are huge and I never get tired of pulled chicken or pulled pork and the portions are always great. The outside seating is large and the place is always clean. I'm grateful we have such a wonderful barbecue place in our area.
Lack of ownership attitude towards customers. Customers makes three ɓigs exist. Be kind and thankful or new places in town will close your doors.
The staff were efficient and kind. The food was great.
A great place for eastern Nprth Carolina BBQ! The hush puppies are also very good.
Great food but a little slower than expected. Cool spot overall. Pulled chicken with the honey mustard BBQ sauce was tasty.
Waitress was wonderful. Food was delicious. Portions were good. Atmosphere was cute and fun.
I've had BBQ all over the country and while it's not the best, the service and atmosphere makes up for it. I always over order at places to try everything - I got the platter with the vinegar pork and BBQ ribs. The pork was perfect but there was hardly any meat on the ribs and what was there was very dry. They probably would have been better around lunchtime.
The sides are my favorite thing on a menu and these were average. The potato salad seemed like the potatoes were previously frozen, thawed, them frozen again with the texture. The baked beans were good. I also sampled the hush puppies which were good (I would have preferred more of a real butter vs a processed butter for them) and the onion straws (which were the best of the four sides!).
Finally, I always get dessert and tried a piece of the peanut butter pie (incredibly rich, one ate one nite and saved the rest) and the fried Oreos, which came with a choice of ice cream. The cinnamon ice cream was one of the best I've ever had! The Oreos were severely under fried so if texture bothers you or you don't like raw batter, maybe ask for a longer fry.
Overall, I'd def try again earlier in the day!
Ordered carryout and switched it to patio seating instead. Should have been given normal plates and offered drinks. Hostess gave our dog some water, which was nice. Had to ask for water for ourselves. Food is good. Patio can be sprayed for ants though. Fair prices.
Super impressed with this establishment! The food was excellent and the service was equally as excellent! It was a dog friendly place which was great since we were traveling with our puppy. We didn't want to eat from a drive through or gas stations so looked around for pet friendly spots. This one came highly recommended and now I know why. When we were seated they brought our puppy a dish of water. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and kind. The food was so good and came in nice sized portions. Even our picky kid ate! I highly recommend this spot! We're adding it to our itinerary the next trip we make.
First time here. We were seated quickly. The menu has plenty to offer. My Husband and I both ordered the vinegar bbq. They had a bottle of vinegar bbq and one with tomato bbq on the table if you wanted to add extra. I had a bite without extra and then I tried a bite with extra. And then tried a bite with tomato bbq. Yum, I liked it best with the tomato bbq added. The sandwich was small but just enough for me. My Husband could have downed 2. There were a lot of hush puppies. The honey butter they came with was delish. The price was fair. I can't say it's my favorite restaurant but it's certainly not the worst

ordered ribs. only options 1/3. 2/3. or whole rack. weird. ribs were dry with no meat on the bones. owner worked at Ned and Bizz i. Richmond. at one point. They beat Bobby flay in a cool off for ribs. Sadly the lessons did not take .
