Appalachian Heritage Distillery is a great spot for spirits lovers, located in Damascus, VA. The distillery offers four liquors: a unique, award-winning Vodka, Gin, 5-year aged Bourbon, and 4-year aged Rye. Visitors can enjoy a tasting of all four, as well as perfect cocktails. The Rye and Bourbon are both smooth, with the Rye being peppery and the Bourbon pleasing to bourbon enthusiasts. The staff is very knowledgeable and makes methodical drinks. The distillery has a nice bar and a great atmosphere, making it an ideal place for a relaxing visit or a special occasion. The spirits are delicious and reasonably priced, with the option to purchase bottles.
